"The location of the hotel is amazing: right by a shuttle stop to Mont Saint-Michel, with amazing views from the restaurant, terrace, and some of the rooms. It is also right beside the damn which offers a space to relax and to watch the sunset. We had a garden room with a view of the top of the Abbey and lots of greenery around. "The shower was the worst part no pressure water at all wifi was cutting on and off all the time the tv took about an hour to sort itself out the bathrooms floor was grim I had to take a shower with my flip flops. Next door from us they were so noisy and annoying to the point that out bed was moving through the wall. "

"Staying on Mont st Michel was a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in while small, was still charming and offered a fantastic view over the ramparts. Do note, the entire building is tiny, with tight staircases and no possibility of an elevator getting installed. Par for the course for anything many centuries old."

"This was a special stay, not for the quality of the accommodation but because of it's location and history. Room was fairly basic but a view to die for, just spectacular. Mt St Michel is magnificent, at night it becomes magical. The abbey lit up at night was amazing. La mere Poulard was ok, friendly reception and good sized, old fashioned room with important fridge, bottled water and fan (essential for the summer). Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, charcuterie, fresh pastries and breads and freshly made gluten free bread. The rooms are dripping in history. Worth it just to experience the Mt and Abbey at night and early morning before it is swamped with visitors. Parking is off site c£35"

"We stayed at Hôtel Oré for one night for our return trip to the UK via an early morning ferry. The hotel was situated on the outskirts of St. Malo in a quiet area and had plenty of parking. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer to make the most of the hotel which looked really lovely. We had a quad room with one double and two single beds. The decor was tasteful, the room clean and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and roomy. The room was well sound proofed and we were aware of very little noise from other guests. There were no restaurants in walking distance but we found something suitable a few minutes drive away."
