Toulon's nightlife is generally more relaxed than some of France's larger cities, but you'll still find several pleasant options, primarily centred around the Old Town. The Old Town, particularly around Place de la Liberté and the surrounding pedestrian streets, is where you'll find most of the activity. There are numerous bars and pubs here, ranging from traditional French establishments to more contemporary spots offering cocktails and wine. Many places have outdoor seating, which is popular in the warmer months. The Port area, especially along Quai Stalingrad, offers a selection of bars and restaurants that often stay open later. You'll find some venues with live music or DJs, particularly on weekends. It's a nice spot for an evening drink with views of the boats. As another option, the Mourillon district, just east of the city centre, has a few beachside bars that become lively in the evenings, especially during summer.
