Beautiful newly refurbished apartment with all amenities in superb location: the sandy beach of La Mata, 30 km from Alicante and Murcia airports. Very luminous and sunny. Located in a well maintained residence with a spacious swimming pool. Lots of green around and a great boardwalk at the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood and beach, supermarket within walking distance, weekly open market nearby. Bus stop to Torrevieja at 1 min walk.
5-10 min by car from two large salt lakes, the Park natural de La Mata and the city center of Torrevieja. It is hard to talk about La Mata without mentioning the excellent beaches, without doubt, some of the best beaches in Spain are in La Mata - the beaches in La Mata have held the European Blue Flag for several years for cleanliness, water quality and safety.

Great location just a short walk to the beach. Owner supplied beach chairs and umbrella which was really lovely. Good communication with owner who was very helpful

What a great experience!
This apartment is gorgeous and so close to the sea that I could just pad down to the beach for 20 mins in my trunks and then come back!
It's about 300 metres from one of the best beaches in Europe and not much further from the nearest supermecado (supermarket). Everything was sparkling clean and plenty of options for different times of the year, heaters, fans, air-con and extra blankets. The kitchen is the best I have seen - Bosch dishwasher, very efficient fridge/freezer and AEG washing machine. The bathroom was well-equipped and the wooden floorboards make a nice change from cold tiles!
There is a chemist just across the road, and I really recommend the Aqualina restaurant only about 50 metres from the apartment. Great food and reasonably priced.
Alex,herself, was keen to provide me with any help she could, and I found her to be an excellent host. I recommend this apartment to anybody.

Die Bilder sind nicht aktuell, das Objekt hat diverse Mängel (keine Tür in der Duschkabine/Wanne), Holzboden aufgequollen, fehlende Fußleisten, Wände könnten neue Farbe dringend gebrauchen. Die beschriebene Heizung war ein Stromradiator mit dem man ein Zimmer auf 15 Grad beheizen kann.

Estancia en La Mata
El apartamento es fiel a las fotos.
Ideal para ir con niños. Tiene una litera y una cuna de viaje (que nosotros usamos ya que fuimos con un bebé). Hasta tienen juguetes de playa para los niños.
La dueña está pendiente en todo momento a través de whatsapp.
La piscina comunitaria es bastante amplia y tiene una temperatura muy agradable.
Está muy cerca de la playa, a 5 minutos andando.
No tiene parking privado, pero hay aparcamientos cerca.
Por poner una pega, no tiene tendedero y hay que tender en la azotea, pero tiene unas buenas vistas al mar.

Nos alojamos una pareja con un niño de 9 años y
hemos estado muy agusto. El apartamento tiene
todo lo necesario para hacer la estancia agradable
incluso toallas, sillas y sombrilla para la playa. Muy
cerca de la misma y con una piscina grande vigilada
por Iván que es súper agradable. Ademas Iris ha estado muy atenta y dispuesta en todo momento.
Repetiremos seguro.

Comfortable and complete
We’ve had a two weeks ‘winter’ leave in this Appartement from 22/12 until 4/1/2019. Arriving in the evening we thought we entered an abandoned city but that was ‘the trick’: it wasn’t abandoned, just pleasantly quiet. It was wonderful to regularly stroll down the boulevard to the center of La Mata. And for a ‘Dutchman’ very odd to be able to swim in the sea in December for it was 20 degrees C during mid-day. The apartment was very complete with (amongst others) a handy small dishwasher in the kitchen and a neatly decorated bathroom. Located between the sea on one side, a spacious nature reserve on the other and Torrevieja nearby there are plenty things to do for almost all kind of people. I can recommend to pay one visit to the restaurant at the corner of the street where Pedro, the key-keeper of the apartment works: nice food, and pleasant service. All in all: a pleasant stay.
