"Our stay in Torrevieja was a huge disappointment. The apartment is being advertised as “Beautiful newly refurbished” which is a complete lie, everything in this place is old, dated or broken and dirty, we complained about the first day, and the owner basically ignored it. The kitchen doesn’t have a matching set of dishes, the drawer with silverware is nasty (we didn’t even use it), the bath towels looked like floor rags, washed out and old (we bought new ones at Carrefour to use). "This was a lovely apartment, had everything you need. Nice pool. But pool has restrictions on it. Doesn’t open until 10.30am, closes at 3.30pm until 5pm. No sunloungers or inflatables. Not the best area but ok. Restaurants great. Very Spanish, so don’t expect them to speak English. All in all enjoyed our stay. Not for me though."

"Spent a month in the apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its very well situated, 5 minutes from the seafront. Yes, the street can be a little bit noisy at night , but its a small price to pay being so close to everything. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. My only disappointment was the lack of an oven, apart from that , everything you need is on site. Torrevieja is an excellent base for a short or long stay.. it comes highly recommended by me."

"Staff were brilliant and helpful, rooms were basic but clean, unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed as it was out of season but it would have been nice to know that beforehand. Perfect location for La Mata only a very short distance to the town with lots of choice for bars and food. Request a sea view early if you want one. "
