"It sits right on the beautiful beach. We enjoyed dining outside and gazing out over the white sands and blue waters. We could walk right out to the pool area, and from the pool to the beach. Kumejima is gorgeous and interesting, and we greatly enjoyed our stay."

"Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Hotel mit Halbpension und fühlten uns sehr wohl und willkommen. Das Zimmer war gut, die Sprudelbadewanne im Badezimmer war super. Das Essen wunderbar. Es gab abends 5 x italienisches Fünfgängemenü (Wahl zwischen Fisch und Fleisch) und 2 x japanisches Essen. Beim Frühstück stand westliches oder japanisches Frühstück zur Auswahl. Die Hotelküche beherrscht beides sehr gut. Das Personal spricht etwas Englisch. Genug gut für unsere Bedürfnisse. Ich empfehle das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter."

"The hosts were very accommodating and helpful all around. Meals provided were delicious and plentiful. I requested 2 more pillows due to my pregnancy comforts and it provided upon arrival. These accommodations are directly facing the beach, great location. The owners were promptly at the boat terminal to pick us up. So many great things about this place and I would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing yet adventurous ( snorkeling, water activities) stay."

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean. You can wash your clothes with the communal machine which was brilliant. We stayed on Aka for a week and had the best time doing scuba and snorkelling too! Thank you Yuumi and team ☀️"

"The decor is nostalgic and well kept. The bus pick up from the port and return to the port were well scheduled and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner (optional purchase) were very good. They looked after us and contacted us in the middle of the day because the weather was getting bad for the ferry and was projected to be cancelled the following two days. So we were able to get off the island that day. A lovely place to stay on a lovely island. And great location too. Just a short walk to the most beautiful beach. "

"A short 15-20 min walk from the dock or maybe only 5 min on an e-bike, this was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean and it wasn’t a hassle at all to share things like the bathrooms with other guests. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay overnight on Zamami. "
