We had a great recommendation from hotel staff on a taxi driver to get us to the waterfalls and the mariposas.

The hotel is rustic, but overall well-preserved. The staff is kind, however I didn't receive the benefits for VIP members, the free tour was not offered at arrival nor the room upgrade and neither the late check-out. The location is somehow near the center of Valle de bravo; I got a room that was on the corner (room 9) and was noisy because both surrounding streets have people and cars driving by. It has parking space on a property across the street. The restaurant is average, the food was not particularly good. However the bed and bathroom was comfortable, it has a small fridge and safebox to keep valuable items. Overall it was a good stay but could have been better.

En relación a sus comentarios acerca de los beneficios VIP le comentamos que los mismos están sujetos a la disponibilidad que exista en el hotel al momento de su reserva, desafortunadamente ya no contábamos con habitaciones disponibles para ofrecer una mejora de categoría y el hotel ya estaba lleno para el día de su salida por lo que un late check-out no era posible. Con respecto al ruido que menciona nos encontramos muy cerca del centro de Valle de Bravo, a solo tres calles de distancia, por lo que es inevitable que de vez en cuando se cuele algún ruido, proveemos de tapones para oídos y nuestra cristalería es alemana de doble hoja para aminorar esta situación. Sin embargo tomaremos en cuenta sus comentarios y haremos todo lo necesario para mejorar nuestros servicios, estamos a sus ordenes.

Valle de Bravo it’s nice but is much, much better on the South side of town. Nicer houses, stores, galleries, and restaurants. Avandaro it’ worth it also.

Great experience
Beautiful staff, very helpful. We brought my aunt who uses a wheelchair but the hotel is not wheelchair friendly, we rented a beautiful bedroom but it was on a second story, the staff was able to accommodate in the first level by bringing an extra bed to the new room, something we really appreciated it.

The photos of the room were misleading, we believed we would have a balcony ( superior room booked ) however we were in room 15 ground floor right beside the restaurant, the noise from the street behind was also very loud in the mornings,

This is our third time staying in this hotel. Still a very good option to stay in Valle de Bravo. It is located at 3 blocks from downtown. The rooms are great! The staff is really nice and professional... always with a great attitude and smiling. The chef offers great food! at a fair price. The Spa is a must! It adds a special touch to your trip.

Small hotel with a lovely garden layout. Very comfortable beds and a nice shower. Easy walk to the center of things and very convenient parking. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was painfully slow and the order was wrong but the waitress was very sweet and tried her best. The room while nicely furnished and comfortable was very very cold. The fireplace in the room did not function. Also had a noisy dehumidifier and a persistent musty smell.

En general la experiencia brindada por el personal del hotel fue de lujo. Excelente atención y servicio por parte de Ubaldo, quien en todo momento estuvo atento a nuestras solicitudes y dudas. Pros: *Excelente ubicación, muy cerca del centro de valle de bravo, y del mirador del lago *Habitaciones limpias (se puede mejorar recomiendo realizar limpieza profunda) *Excelente servicio al cliente por parte del personal y muy amables. *La comida del restaurante es muy rica y a buen precio (desayunos). Areas de oportunidad *El diseño de las habitaciones es muy bonito, aunque en algunas habitaciones no es muy funcional. Baño totalmente de vidrio, y cuando abres la puerta de la habitación se puede ver hacia en interior, solo sería mejorar el diseño para hacerlo más funcional. *El jacuzzi muy bonita la experiencia, solo que al parecer había unos problemas y se derramaba el agua; en cuanto a privacidad sería bueno poner un biombo para que separe de las habitaciones en la planta superior. *Mayor promoción al restaurante (ya que la comida es muy rica), colocar en las habitaciones un código QR para ver el menú del restaurante así como los horarios para el desayuno, comida, y cena. ( Nos quedamos con ganas de probar las pizzas pero no sabíamos a partir de a qué hora o hasta que hora había servicio) En general me llevo una muy bonita experiencia.

Cute place for a couple of nughts
Hotel is nice, very pleasant. The rooms are clean and the people in general very helpful. Restaurant food is good but the service a little unorganized, however quality is good. The location requires a little bit of walking to get to but we didn't mind.

Great location, fun and quirky hotel with a couple of drawbacks. The staff was nice, we liked the room a lot during the day, and the property is in a great location to explore the town. The property is a cool refuge from the heat and busy town. The included breakfast cost was insane, especially compared to what individual items cost on the menu and as compared to the cost of food in town, so we skipped that non option. We did eat one night in the restaurant and the service was as slow and bad as any I’ve experienced (my wife’s mojito took ten minutes and we were alone in the place, ten minutes later they told me they had no tequila and could not make me a margarita! My wife was done her cocktail by then and no one had taken a food order, then their pizza oven only cooks one pizza at a time… so bad and slow!). We ate out every other meal, but still really liked the hotel until we tried to sleep. There is no sleep here due to outside noise all night. The internet was so weak we couldn’t run a white noise app, so zero sleep the first two nights. The last night they gave us a portable router for the room so we could run the app, but the traffic and dogs barking was still too much. If you go, ask for the router when you check in so you can try and combat the noise at night. The room was really nice, the bathroom was great too and so we’re the little amenities and toiletries.

Amazing stay!!
I had an amazing time at Meson de Leyendas in a stylish comfortable and cozy room (although it was a bit cold at night but a bathtub and a fireplace helped a great deal). Front desk service and restaurant servers were extremely nice. I've tried the best swiss enchiladas for breakfast there! They also have temascal and spa services, which you need to book in advance.

We booked the room with two individual queen size beds. However the receptionist gave us a room with one queen size room and two separate single bed. And they simply said the reservation from Expedia does not guarantee the same room they actually can offer and they have the right to change. This is a totally unacceptable, further more, the wifi barely worked in our room, even the Smart TV in the room failed to connect to the hotel and wifi.

Oasis within the heart of the city
We loved our stay at Meson de Leyendas. It was the perfect location - a short walk into the center of town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of waterfront. When you walk through the entrance, it's like walking into a secret garden. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, our massages were a welcome respite from our travels - no complaints!

The hotel is really close to the main plaza and was quiet and very clean. The staff, as usual, makes or breaks any hotel. We were really happy with each one of them. We were not there long enough to enjoy a Temazcal or the spa but there options were available. Great place!

This is a sweet hotel about 4 blocks from the heart of town. It has a lovely jungle like patio in the center. Our room was large and roomy in the back with nice windows. The bathroom was nice and the shower was hot and roomy. The staff was accommodating and helped with the luggage and booked us a taxi ride back to the airport. We would definitely stay again, we ate breakfast at the hotel and it was good.

While it’s a very charming place, the lack of amiability, as well as the lack of information provided on how the front door of the property closes and you won’t be able to leave until they reopen ruined my expriebce. I wasn’t treated as I had hoped, the waiter at breakfast didn’t care to provide a good service, receptionist that greeted us at night look like he cared less to make us feel welcomed. As well as the receptionist in the morning was more eager to charge me for the two extra people yet didn’t care to say anything about the multiple spiders found. It wasn’t until I left they decided to message me. When I pointed out the huge spider in our room he laughed as if it was funny. With a child sleeping there I didn’t find it enthusiastic. We got switched rooms to once again find two other spiders. I understand it’s hard to control them, but I should be able to get a hold of someone at some point in the night. The hotel apologized for the inconvuence, yet it felt more as a don’t leave a bad review.

Sentimos mucho no haber cumplido con sus expectativas. Haremos todo lo que esta en nuestras manos para mejorar. En cuanto apareció la araña, lo cambiamos de habitaron con todo gusto, haciendo un upgrade gratis a una habitación superior deluxe. Todas nuestras habitaciones están sujetas a un control estricto de calidad y a un programa de fumigaciones. Como ya le hemos dicho antes, lo lamentamos mucho. El mismo dia del suceso nos pusimos en contacto con usted disculpándonos. La puerta del hotel se cierra por seguridad a las 1100pm, sin embargo las 24 horas hay un recepcionista a cargo que abre y cierra la puerta cuando sea necesario. Sentimos mucho su mala experiencia y haremos todo lo que este a nuestro alcance para mejorar. Gracias ye esperamos poder servirle en otra ocasión.
