"The hosts were very helpful. I've never stayed anywhere with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and a disposable razor in the bathroom. The location was a 10 minute walk out of town, but there was a chippy nearby. Rather than eat my takeaway in my room I was invited to use the dining area and supplied with cutlery. The breakfast was good as well."

"Interesting one. Stables is quite secluded within a large park. I arrived in the evening. I was the only guest and there was a message directing me to my room. Excellent bedroom lots of space, well appointed bathroom with bath and shower. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long time. Room information provides suggestions for places to eat but it’s a bit of a trek to the main road and a bit confusing in the dark. Freshly cooked breakfast was really good "

"We enjoyed an excellent 1 night stay in a spacious Manor room with 4 poster bed, with a lovely view overlooking the terrace and golf course. Hotel is clean and comfortable, and staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you also for the 'Happy birthday' message and chocolate treats in the room. There is plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, and the food is really good. The only slight niggle is that the hot food was not piping hot. The terrace is a lovely place for a drink, and there are local walks to enjoy. Hotel is also convenient for the city center. We had a fabulous stay and look forward to visiting again."
