The pillows were like rock's, pipes were leaking, door handles were coming off. There is constant traffic outside the hotel.

It very nice and extremely clean rooms. Near by Halifax so you need a car to easily get here (20 mins drive from downtown). Easy check in and check out, if you need to leave early, no or at all. Nice stuff! And so beautiful lake, you can just sit on the chair in the dock and enjoy the view. Parking spots could be bigger, it’s hard to park full SUV, but possible. All necessary items (shampoo, conditioner, make up removal wipes) , hair dryer, towels, fridge and microwave, and coffee machine is there

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something clean and convenient. View out to the back of the hotel in morning was so beautiful. It’s no Hilton but that’s not what we were looking for. Just a place to sleep while we were visiting family. One of the staff members was not all that friendly but that was ok, we still had a great mini vacation on our first (but not last) to Nova Scotia.

Beautiful view of the lake, plus a nice little sitting area at the back of the property right by the water. Only down fall was it room was hot and they hadn't issued out the heat pump remotes yet. I would definitely stay here again.

Building appears to be new. Everything clean, bright & in good condition. Tile floors are cleaner than carpet would be. Seems to be in-floor heating but should be advised of this. We found it chilly at first but couldn't figure out how thermostat worked. Took a little while to warm up. Appreciate that windows open. Almost a full kitchen - has full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, large sink, coffee machine. Beautiful view of the lake & place for you to sit there. Quiet area at night. Reasonable price.

It is quiet and nice place to stay in timberlea. Easy access to parking. The rooms are clean and furnished. Internet connection is also strong. Highly recommend stardust motel if you want to stay in Timberlea.

When I got home, the next day I noticed an extra charge on my card, I email and no answer until almost 2 days later when they it’s it’s from sneaking an animal in, I did not have an animal in our room, it was me and my 2 kids, they will not give the owners contact information or say anything about their cameras as I told them to check those, I have proof my animals were home with my husband with our cameras inside our house with the dates and the times. It’s pretty horrible scamming people and even more worse this close to Christmas, I will never stay there again.

Great place, the room was so coay and comfortable, I reached at 12 am in the night from Sydney but even then I was allocated a room immediately, no long waiting. Will definitely come back to this place again.

Beautiful location on the lake, less expensive than in the city but an easy, short drive right down St. Margaret's Bay Rd. to the Armdale Rotary and into the city. Exceptionally clean. Good Internet. Gas station and Tims nearby which is great for travellers. Also a short drive to Bayer's Lake for shopping. A hidden gem.

We arrived after dark and left before daylight, so can’t say much about the area. We did notice a beautiful yard backing into a lake, but again we’re not able to see much. The room and property were super clean and immaculately kept.

It was facing the river and there’s a nice seating area there to sit and relax. It is on a main road so traffic is noisy. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Could use a bath rail for my elderly friend. Would recommend.
