    "Visiting Galveston for the first time and decided to stay at this hotel as it was close to all of our planned excursions. We had a problem with the shower curtain smelling VERY musty so we called the front desk for about 15 minutes with no answer. Finally had to just go down and ask for a new one which they gave us but it made us feel like the rooms weren’t being cleaned thoroughly. We also found old flower petals under the sink from a past guest. The elevators were broken all weekend so waiting..."

    "Front desk & housekeeping are wonderful people. If you’re looking for a Small double room antique area this place is it. Now to be honest the room floors were sticky and left beer bottle was in the room. The shower drain did Not drain properly your standing in pool of water. Double beds are also smaller size, not for 2 regular size people. The front door facing hall was raised higher than normal, felt creepy anyone could place fingers under door, (Camera etc) and Wrong Name greetings on the tv."
