"The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. You can walk right onto the beach. I would definitely go again."

"Had a few minor inconveniences, such as the body wash and conditioners being empty and it taking two days and two requests to get more. Additionally, the activity room and building with the pool was under construction, and the chlorine level in the pool was such that our skin (myself and one of my children) had a multi-day rash and it took multiple showers to get the chlorine completely off my skin. Otherwise, the grounds were beautiful, the location was great, and the space for our family of four was perfect. I would stay there again, but beware that they will try to get you to listen to a sales pitch about buying a timeshare while you are there."

"I wish there was no carpet. It was old and a hard surface flooring is just better to keep clean and doesn’t hold smells. The rooms could use a little upgrade."

"Our room was 5 star. Room smelled very clean upon entering and was spotless. Beautiful views and the elevators were very responsive. Breakfast was very good with nice selection! Only complaint was the valet parking. Having to wait for our vehicle when we were ready to leave or sitting in the street waiting to be able to pull in wasnt what we were expecting. "

"Have returned as a guest multiple times over the years- my favorite VB hotel. Friendly; at a (usually) quiet end of the beach; ammenities are GREAT for the price. This time, however, ocean view was obstructed by tractor trailers due to monster truck event right outside. So much for a quiet, peaceful weekend retreat! -- lesson learned: pay attention to any events booked at the 5th/6th street area during your stay. "
