"Always love the pools, especially the 21 and over pool. Outside pools seemed a little too dirty. Staff was great! Room was clean but poorly maintained and stocked. Only had a partial roll out of toilet paper and paper towels. Took too long to get the TP. No ice bucket, no dish drainer. Lamp was not working and outlet in the kitchen area wasn’t working. Overall decent experience but did get tired of calling for things."

"What a cool place! I booked here not even knowing how many amenities there were and would love to come back for longer than 1 night. The grounds were beautiful and I loved how many things there were to do. The units were spacious and clean, and I loved having a full kitchen and living room. Great price too!"

"Our stay is always great at the Schooner Inn. My only complaint is that this Labor day weekend our beach front was blocked by 3 days of music concerts and surf competition; so music all night was tough to deal with when wanting to relax. We still look forward to coming and love our hotel. We appreciate you and your staff."

"This hotel was basically clean but it's old and that shows in the details, especially in the bathroom (tiles/grout needs an upgrade and I also don't like the sink outside of the bathroom.) The bathroom was tiny but the room itself was large and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and the staff members that I met were professional and nice. The location was great - easy access to the beach! Our room had a very nice little outdoor area with 2 chairs and a table. However, we were on the first floor, right next to the custodial room and across from the dumpsters (not the best location, I'm sure). In the custodial room were washers and dryers. Each time we attempted to sit outside on the chairs outside our room, the dryers were on and we smelled gas. We assumed the gas was coming from the dryer vents, but I was so concerned that I called the front desk. The person I spoke with was unfazed by my gas concern and told me that it was nothing to worry about. She also mentioned that the custodial staff had gone home. Even if it was of no concern to her, we couldn't sit outside, so that area went unused by us (which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel). Shouldn't a "GAS" concern be investigated?? I won't be returning."
