Bucket list and 35th Anniversary!
Our time in Three Rivers was great. We visited Sequoia 3 times and Yosemite once. We ate local as often as possible and enjoyed the view from the back porch. Great Memories made.

Great family spot
Had a great time at this property. It was a family trip, my kids are ages 13 and 5. They played by the river, the swings and the rope swing all day. Never wanted to go into the house. You have the whole river to yourself and it is very secluded. My husband and I also spent all day outside. Fishing, playing horseshoes and just sitting by the river relaxing. We only went into the house in the evenings. We were able to just put in some DVDs and watch movies and play dominoes. It was so peaceful in the house, you could enjoy the sound of the river, frogs and birds etc. I would definitely recommend this place to a family that just wants to enjoy their time together and can stay at a place that has the basics provided and doesn’t need a fancy modern house to stay in.

Magical Experience!
A friend of mine and I stayed at the property with our children for a couple of nights in April. It was an amazing experience! The kids ran around outside a lot and we took an hour day trip to the big Sequoia trees. When I reached out to Steve regarding access into the home, he answered immediately and was very helpful. This is the perfect place to take time to slow down and feel rejuvenated from the natural elements.

A Trip to the Sequoias
We had an amazing stay at Steve’s. Unfortunately the wifi information wasn’t correct on Vrbo nor was it in the booklet inside of the home which made it very difficult to get in touch with Steve as there’s no service. Overall it was incredible, his home is beautiful and we had a great time.

Just for the record, the correct Wi-Fi password was in fact included in the "Information Sheet " sent to the guest the day it was booked and is correctly stated in the copy in the house and of course printed on the back of the WiFi router.

River peace with access to SNP
Cool mid -century ranch house (so don't expect modern hip vibes) with amazing connection to the river and nature around it. Loved the quick access to town and SNP plus BLM land to explore.

Incredible Feeling!!!
You get to experience nature with all the amenities of your own home. Wifey described it on the drive home as a Magical experience!!! We got to experience the peaceful mornings on the patio with a bowl of oatmeal and drink of choice in hand. My boys got to disappear for hours sitting on the dam sharing and reflecting about life and whatever they are going thru at the stages they are in. I can go on and on of how we felt and what this trip meant to us but I think you get the point. We are definitely hoping to come back and experience different seasons at this beautiful tranquil location!!! Thank you so much to the host for sharing their family property and letting us create memories of our own. I have already recommended to friends and family and I would do the same to a total stranger. This is a must property to experience!!! Thanks again

The house was comfortable; however, it needs a deep clean. The bed linen, blankets and towels smelled as if they haven’t been washed.

Peaceful riverfront setting
We chose this property for its proximity to Sequoia National Park, and the riverfront setting, and it delivered on both features. It is secluded, but convenient to stores and restaurants. It was comfortable and well-equipped, and the hosts were extremely accessible for questions and an unforeseeable minor issue that came up during our stay.

Overall experience was very calming by the way you are in touch with nature just in their backyard you are able to hear the calming sounds of the birds chirping and the river flowing. Awesome stay
I am an active, over 60 guy who has been Visiting king's Canyon ever since. I was in junior high at YMCA sumer camp And been coming up for many years since. This year, I was fortunate enough to bring my daughter and son-in-law. And we stayed at this awesome place with intentions of hiking many days, but after 1 day of hiking, we decided to spend the rest of our days, lounging in the water and enjoying the peace and solitude. Thank you Steve, hope to visit again maybe next year again for my birthday.

Amazing vacation stay
Beautiful mid-century cabin retreat next to the river and 6 miles from Sequoia National Park. The cabin easily fit our 6 person family with an extra 2 pull-out bed sofas. Elderly folks may need help getting around the property and into the shower. Some of the favorite parts of our stay: - Plenty of luggage racks. One in each bedroom and one extra in the supply closet - Puzzles and boardgames aplenty. My kids enjoyed playing Scattergories - River floats and ropes available for fun river activities - BBQ grilling with a beautiful river view - Outdoor patio facing the river. I practice Qi Gong every morning and loved the morning air and quiet by the river - Host was extremely responsive and sent over an ac unit repairman the next day when our ac was having issues, and provided us with extra bedcovers and linens when we couldn't find any. 10/10. Our family would love to come back and stay again next year.

Mom's birthday weekend
Absolutely loved the views from nearly everywhere in the house, with the entire wall of glass, and listening to the rushing river just below the porch. Water level was high and running too fast to enjoy swimming or floating, no way to have predicted that when we booked it. However, the birds and local critters kept us amused. This property is NOT for guests with mobility challenges. Mom needs a walker to get around, so the uneven steps and paving stone pathway made it difficult for her. Also, the steep stairs down to the "beach" and water only has a railing half way down, so she stayed to the house and porch. The rest of us explored a bit more. The house itself was a throwback to another era, and easy enough for her to move around. We all needed a relaxing getaway to unwind, and that is exactly what we got. All in all, an enjoyable weekend.

3rd time back, relaxing as ever!
This is my third time coming back with a few friends and renting for a weekend. We had a great time! The cabin is wonderful for some relaxing cabin time, and the property is right next to the Sequoia south entrance. The town of Three Rovers has plenty cute shops to explore. Highly recommend! And Steve is always responseful and helpful both before and during our visit. Thanks so much, Steve! We look forward to visiting again!

This is my 3rd time visiting here and have to say, even though the Sequoias are neighboring the property you don't want to leave the running water nestled right in front of your porch! This place never gets old and if you are looking for a great family place to see all other landscapes, you need to try this place!!

Lovely cottage by a stream

The house is cute, it's up in the mountains so it's not perfect or spotless, no bells and whistles but it's a great place to go and relax. Beautiful location on the river, saw plenty of wildlife (even 2 bears) wonderful patio in the back to sit and enjoy nature. We spent the majority of out time at the house on the patio. The house has everything you need inside and feels very homey. Comfy beds and furniture. The house is about a 15 minute drive to the entrance of the Sequoia National Park. Very close to the little town of Three Rivers where you can find everything you need. We definitely plan on visiting again!!

Great get away!
My family stayed at this house for two nights before heading up to Sequoia. It was a great spot for relaxation and exploring outdoors. I already want to come back solo when I can actually relax and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the river without distraction 😊. Beautiful property. Great mix of comfort and nature.

Great place!
Great location in the woods right on the river. Huge property with plenty of space to wander and explore. The swings and rope swing were w hit with the kids. Private river access to swim, float or climb over the rocks and explore down river. The house was clean and well kept with beautiful and interesting 1950s architecture. Wonderful retreat in the wilderness
We felt truly in the wild at this wonderful cabin right on the river. It was so peaceful going to sleep to the sound of the rushing creek. Wild turkey were everywhere! If you're looking to catch trout, this probably isn't the place for you, though we caught a few bass and the kids had fun. Also, the path that runs along the river on the property is super overgrown and hard to follow so prepare accordingly. Overall, we truly enjoyed the weekend and would come again!

Beautiful property, incredible stay.
We LOVE this house & the surrounding property. It is so beautiful & peaceful with an awesome view of the river from the wall to wall windows of the house. We had our breakfast on the patio overlooking the river & returned there in the evening to enjoy relaxing after hiking in Sequoia. I had stayed at this property with my friends about a year ago when we came to hike Sequoia & I knew at that time that I would have to return with my husband. He loved it here as much as I do. Communication with the owner was easy & he answered us quickly.

A River Runs Through It
If you like the sound of running water framed by beautiful shades of green from the surrounding trees, this home is for you. Clean, comfortable, but most of all situated right next to one of the most beautiful river scenes that you will ever experience.

Great easy communication with the owner . The house was beautifully situated. River steps away, fun swing set , tic tac toe and tadpoles and frogs in the evening The house has a nice open plan and came packed with boardgames and books. Bedrooms were very comforatble and had alot of extra sleeping options too. The house is vintage and cute and has great views from all the windows . Overall it was great experience and will be going back sooner than later.

Loved our stay
We loved every bit of our stay! My family and I were greeted by wild turkeys, quails and the squirrel that lives inside the center tree in front of the living room facing the stream. The house was very clean! The beds were very comfortable (actually had the best nights of sleep in a very long time!). To wake up to the sounds of the stream in the morning was just the best! I cook for my family so pleasantly surprised to see all the cooking amenities that I needed (cutting board and even coarse black pepper that I needed) were all in the cupboards. There’s a lot of wildlife! Deer, various birds, ducks, frogs, insects and unfortunately mosquitos. It’s very thoughtful that the owner keeps a full can of bug spray in the closet, lol. We fished every morning and evening and caught the two small mouth river bass and released them back into the pool. The stream is perfect for tubing but at this time in April, it was a bit too cold for us...next time for sure. We enjoyed the yard with the swing set and the tic tac toe rock game area. This was our first time staying at Three Rivers and my family and I genuinely loved and enjoyed our stay. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home!

Heavenly River Getaway
This is a special place. We brought our twin 9-year-olds and grandpa for three nights. From the moment we arrived we wanted the stay to last longer. The house looks immediately down on a secluded pool on the North Fork. We watched from comfortable outdoor furniture on the shaded porch as our kids fished and played along the shore under a full canopy of trees. The house is very well kept with interesting, original, retro architecture and top rate amenities. Unlike some rentals, the kitchen has everything you need, just like home. The living room and owner's bedroom face the river so there is a constant gentle waterfall sound. We saw a bobcat, wild turkeys, and birds of prey. We had fun touring Sequoia and rafting the Kawhea but were always eager to get back to this wonderful retreat. The owners were easy and responsive. They obviously work hard to keep this place up. We feel lucky they shared it with us.

Such a beautiful and very peaceful home. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough sleeping options for our party of 7. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Living room is large with plenty of seating and the view is amazing. There’s benches by the water, the sound is serene. We had a lot of fun on the property. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions and we couldn’t have been happier with the place. Plenty of parking. Rural feel but close to stores. We will be back soon.
