Best Western Plus Carriage Inn
8/10 Good
"Decent pet friendly hotel in So Cal. We like the shampoo and body soap you can usually find at most Best Westerns. Didn't like that we had to pay extra for parking, that the blow dryer kept struggling to blow and that the only breakfast/food option was Denny's next door, but overall we would consider staying here again when in the area."

"You cannot beat the location next to the 101 freeway and next to the Premium Outlets shops that you can walk on if you like. The beach (Oxnard) and Ventura are a 10-15 minute drive away. The freeway noise can be buffered by the AC/heater on so you can sleep. I requested a second-floor, quiet room, and the friendly staff pleased me. The pool is small but refreshing after six hours of driving. For a quick night or couple of nights, it is a perfect stay until you reach your final destination."
Good Nite Inn - Calabasas

"The room was clean, bed was nice. There was a good selection of channels on the TV to choose from. We brought an XBox and kids were able to play games on the TV, on our down time. The staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing I can say wasn't that great, was our shower mat. It had old mold stains on it. Also, the water faucet had a smell, almost like eggs when we first turned it on. Besides that, we really enjoyed our stay. Pool was great. We also love how close this place is to the ocean. Short drive to Malibu. Overall, we'd stay here again."
