"Nice hotel in a beautiful location on the edge of the market square in Masham. The staff were really friendly and our room was good, it's a shame the bar closes early, we were up there for a gig at the Town Hall and wanted a drink afterwards with our friends, luckily the Bruce Arms were very accommodating. A nice place to stay, a shame there were no biscuits in the rooms for your afternoon cuppa though."

"Lovely rooms above the pub. We had both an evening meal & breakfast and both were good. The main street in Bedale is lovely with plenty of shops & pubs. Our room was above the street and there was a bit of noise from the street however this was mainly due to having the windows open as it was a warm night."

"Lovely village pub and little room perfectly suited our needs for a quick overnight stay with very nice and very reasonably priced food. Staff very helpful but simply couldn’t resolve room lack of WiFi which also meant TV options restricted. Breakfast a little lacking - would suggest continental may include croissant or similar. That said….for what we needed it mostly met our needs."

"Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous.The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries.Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels.Will visit again"
