"The hotel is very well maintained, clean and tidy. The room we had was very spacious, with a good size balcony looking over the Main Street. The room was clean and tidy, with ample towels snd toiletries. The bathroom consisted of a large walk in shower with a power head and a rinsing shower application. The breakfast consisted of both a cooked and continental, arranging from cooked meats, various cheeses and sandwiches, along with different cereals and fruits. The hotel is on the Main Street, which is close to the old part and a 15-20 minute walk to the waterfront. We didn’t use public transport, as walked to most sightseeing places, but there seemed to be a number of buses going to various places running outside the hotel. Overall really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would use the Oscar Olympic again if we visited Thessaloniki."

"I booked the Mediterranean Palace when the official hotel for my business conference, the Makedonia Palace, was full. I selected this property based on its Hotels.com profile. It was a long walk…1.6 miles. However, I believe that this hotel was in a more favorable location. Aristotle Square is definitely the place to stay based on my experience. Mediterranean Palace was smaller; but the staff was definitely 5 star in terms of attention and service. American travelers will be well attended, and will feel quite comfortable. You do not need to worry about any problems here. "
