"This was a fabulous experience to stay at Florence Nightingale’s summer home. A most beautiful and historic house in its own grounds ( Nightingale Park) and a delightful family home. We were made most welcome and enjoyed our stay very much."

"Spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped for such a small property. Hosts were really friendly, welcoming and helpful, explaining the best route to where I needed to go. Bed was very comfortable and the property had its own heating system that could be controlled by the guest for their ideal temperature. Very well-insulated - property stayed warm all day while I was out with the heating turned to minimum. Only a short distance to filling station up or down the road it's on, plenty of shops nearby (around 1/2 mile). Convenient for many local tourist attractions such as Crich Tramway Village, Great British Car Journey, Ecclesborne Railway, Midland Railway Centre, etc. Less than a mile drive takes you into beautiful rolling countryside with footpaths to walk. Hope to return next year and do more."
"Located 15mins from Matlock, this property is in an excellent quiet location. Beds comfortable, Hot Tub which was clean and perfect temperature the moment we arrived. Odd bit of maintenance Ive informed the owner about but did not affect our stay. Communication was constant throughout the stay answering questions we had almost instantly. Really nice touches like washing up liquid, condiments and small things you would not expect from a vrbo property. The games room which was a hit with my kids. We would come back and recommend "
"Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas.
Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house.
We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible.
There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. "
