"Skimpy breakfast"

"Terrible! I booked through Hotels.com but this place is run by an apartment complex. They require a separate check in but there’s no one there. I tried for 3 days to call and get help because the system wasn’t working for online check in. NO HELP. We flew to Austin. I was on the phone with someone in San Francisco during our whole connection. Got to Austin and still wasn’t resolved. Then went to the apartment and no one was there. Took another hour of sitting outside the gate before a girl (5th person I had spoken with) could help us. The apartment was “ok” but not very clean. Big dirty footprints on the bath mat, etc. Then our first day there they called ( they apparently can reach out when they need something) wanting us to go back to the apartment from our excursion to let them in to work on a TV. They called and texted 4 times. I would NEVER book a place associated with “The Landing” company again. "

"First I only booked the room due to it advertising that there was a hot tub. False they do not. I mentioned that and the front desk said there’s nothing they do for advertisement. The room keys didn’t work so they switched our rooms and again the room keys stopped working, went to take a hot bath and the tub had rust along with the faucets, I took pictures and showed the front desk and they said that had do with house keeping. I asked to speak to a manager and wanted a refund and was told I’d have to call back. Tried calling and unable to speak to manager. Very disappointed. "

"This place was great! The beds were comfortable. Everything needed was there, from kitchen ware and supplies, bathroom ware and supplies. You name it. Neighborhood is also nice. Traffic can be a little noisy by the master bedroom at times but not too bad. We were extremely happy with this stay. Our trip was to visit family at another location most of the day while there, but during our use of this place, it was perfect! Definitely would recommend to others. "

"We were disappointed with our stay, especially given the price we paid and the expectations set by the listing. Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not match what we anticipated.The floors were sticky, the pillows and bedding were discolored, and much of the furniture and décor felt very old and dated. All of the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the master bed appeared to be broken. My mom ended up sleeping on the couch. Several maintenance issues also stood out, including a broken microwave handle, broken kitchen garbage can, broken toilet paper holder, and ceiling fans that either thumped loudly or only worked with the light on. Water pressure in the shower was very low and the drain did not work properly, causing water to pool.Basic amenities were also lacking. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms, the towels provided were old and mismatched, and the iron listed in the amenities was not available. The kitchen cupboards were also packed with random items, leaving little usable space.The outdoor area also needed attention, with broken furniture, clutter, animal waste present, and overflowing garbage.Overall, the property could benefit from significant cleaning, repairs, and updates to better match the price and expectations for a vacation rental."
