"The inn is clean and pretty. Breakfast was amazing! Small complaints: we were there for three nights. There was a door tag with a “do not disturb “ and a “please make up my room.” So, we assumed that at least after the second night, with the tag flipped, someone would make up our room and give us fresh towels. Didn’t happen even though there were housekeepers working. The Bourbon Room bar looked cozy and inviting, but it was hardly open. We couldn’t figure out if they served any food. We didn’t even understand that it was a bar, not just a tasting room for bourbon, until we went down there. Then, though it was 8:15, we were told it was last call, so we left. I believe these things might be growing pains with new ownership. It’s a lovely property, great location, thankfully excellent air conditioning. Small adjustments, and it could be fantastic."

"Everyone was helpful and nice. The room was clean but had a stale smell to it the first day, it eventually went away. Not sure if it was just because it was closed up. Other than that I enjoyed my stay so much I extended it for another day. Also, it’s conveniently located in a shopping center of Walmart and dollar tree."

"Staff was helpful. My 84 year old mom went in first and they switched us to a first floor room. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable no concerns at all."

"My stay was great my only concerns are the fact that they have only on ice machine for the entire hotel and it was broken. The front desk person suggested I go to one of the near by gas stations and get ice. I also did not appreciate the fighting among the house keepers they were arguing in front guests and they also use very profane language and this seemed to be the norm for this location. I’m assuming because no one interrupted or try to intervene to minimize the exposure of this type of behavior to the guest at one point I was attempting to check out and two of the staff members were arguing and interrupting the person that was attempting to check me out by trying to get her to resolve their issue"

"The stay was relaxing, comfortable, homely in the best way..we loved the heated pool & games offered & the arcade took me back..ha ha we played super marios bros original first game & loved it.. the first night we went out swimming & Missunn came out to introduce herself calling me by name (Mlelissa) & remembered our talked prior to me coming. via personal texts🙂 & to top it off we came in from swimming & was welcomed by the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies hot out the oven from Missunn. David was our greater& host he gave us a run down &some neat history & it just felt like u knew him already.. just a great couple & the fellow guests were all so friendly inviting & just chill like we were planning on doing. Thank you both again it was the best experience & our first time staying in a b& b.. you guys rock we will.come again sometime & will recommend you guys"
