"Perfect house for our family; two young sons and two dogs! The home was stocked with all kitchen tools, spices, and a coffee station. Every bathroom had all toiletries; toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and makeup cleaner. The back yard was great for our dogs with the privacy fence. The owner was very responsive to our comfort and easy to communicate with. This was easily the best place our family could have stayed at for a first time bringing our dogs to Oak Island."

"Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon checking in we found the room door standing open which we thought was odd. Then once in the room we found the mattresses to be very dirty, they allowed us to change rooms and these mattresses were better. Overall the stay was OK. "

"We LOVED our stay! Latane was a gracious, personable, and super helpful host. Check in was easy. And she gave us recommendations for ...everything. There were some board games and a great pool table. The couch was super comfortable, large tvs. The bed and pillows very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. The house was clean and very cute. We highly recommend renting the golf cart. We could park it everywhere around the island, including beaches, the lighthouse, and restaurants. It made things super easy. The house has a really great outdoor shower for cleaning off sand. And a great little hot tub. The kitchen is beautiful and clean. The house has many windows and the light coming in is great. Publix grocery store, ice cream, tennis and pickleball courts, and the beach are all within walking distance if you don't have a golf cart. Oak Island is lovely. Southport isn't far away. Thank you for the wonderful stay! "

""Our stay in Oak Island was fantastic! Even with 6 people in the house and some less-than-ideal weather, we never felt like we were tripping over one another. The space is incredibly spacious, clean, and functional, but it also has a wonderful personality that makes it feel like a home rather than just a rental.The kitchen was well-equipped for any kind of meal we wanted to prep, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host was top-tier—extremely caring and communicative from start to finish. It was exactly what we paid for and a very positive experience overall. "Fantastic stay. The hosts were kind, responsive, and easier to reach than some of my own family members. You can hear the ocean from the front porch, which was an added soothing bonus. Considered sleeping out there with the squirrels. The only down-side was the dryer, which sounded mildly dramatic as it did its job, but it worked and we were appreciative.Would 100% stay again. Already looking forward to it. Don’t overthink this property, people, just book it. You will be glad you did! "
