"Everything was great from the room to drinks/food at the back porch. My one suggestion is getting more water pressure for showers in the rooms this is my 2nd time staying and both times the water pressure wasn’t great."

"Third time here. I love this place! Plenty of pool space. Lazy river, steps to the beach, pool bar, breakfast buffet available. I believe it's around $15 per person. Front desk staff VERY friendly and helpful. ONLY complaint I have is the lady running the bar Saturday is NOT friendly. She doesn't smile. Even when asked how her day was she just stared at us like we were stupid. She is rude when she is taking your order. Another customer beside me was waiting to order. Bartender asked what her order was. Customer said I think they were in front of me, and pointed to some other people. She said I asked YOU because they already ordered. That customer looked over and me and I just shook my head. She works in the breakfast buffet as well. She was very short with me that morning in there too, but not as bad as she was serving people at the bar. There were numerous people saying how rude they were treated. She is NOT an indication of anyone or anything else at this hotel. I'm sure they will correct her behavior. Everyone has a bad day, but hers didn't seem to get any better by the end of her shift. EXCELLENT stay! We will be back!"
"I stayed here 33 years ago and was so happy that the Vancouver hadnt been replaced with another high rise or gone over to the sketchy side like so many other small motels I used to stay in. Yes, it is old and it shows in places. You won't find the newest furnishings here. If these things bother you, don't stay here. What you will find is a clean and comfortable room that is steps from the ocean, a clean pool, and your vehicle. Check in took all of 5 minutes and our room was exactly as pictured, clean, and well stocked with towels. It is a pet friendly motel but there wasnt any evidence of that in our room. The beds werent the latest, but they had snow white sheets and fluffy pillows and we had no trouble sleeping in them. Good clean cold refrigerator and AC unit that had no trouble keeping the room cool in the heat wave we had that week. We come for the beach and this is the perfect place to enjoy it without waiting on an elevator or going through a lobby to get there. Convenient shower to rinse off. Staff was friendly and never far away. The atmosphere felt safe and was so relaxed, and we met some very nice people staying there. It was easy to get in and out to go places and we had plenty of dining options less than 10 minutes away. We extended our stay there and have already booked a room for next month. Safe to say that this will be our go-to for Myrtle Beach!😀"
