"The lodge is so much bigger than in photos with a completely private yard & lakefront. Filled with everything you need for cooking, playing, and water activities for all ages. I brought my grandkids ages 5, 7 & 8 and they had a great time kayaking, sand castles, outdoor/indoor games and learning how to row a fishing boat. A small tent for the kids to sleep in though they didn’t make it the whole night- LOL. The place was spotless! Provided extra bedding and plenty of extra places to sleep. The master suite has king sized bed with adjustable firmness for each side. I cannot say enough about how it exceeded my expectations in every way! And the privacy! You can’t see any neighbors. Absolutely beautiful."

"We enjoyed our stay at Basswood cabin! 6 of us (4 adults, 2 children) fit comfortably. The grounds and location were great and the cabin was very clean - it smelled new! Would highly recommend to anybody traveling to the Ely area and looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay."

"Property is just as listed with good view of lake and nice stream with walking bridges. Pontoon ride was great to see the lake and fishing boats operated great with life jackets provided. Cabin was clean and all amenities enabled us to cook everything we brought. Very courteous management. Really enjoyed my trip with son in law and two grandkids!!"
