Had a very nice stay! Room was clean and didn’t smell like anything at all 🙂 It had just what we needed for our few day stay. The owner was very kind and helpful. He even made some calls and switched some things around for us so we could add a night. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotels.com overbooked us, so when we arrived our unit wasn't available. The amazing staff were accommodating and very pleasant to work with. She found us a different cabin on the property (nicer than the one we had originally booked) and got us set up with everything we needed. It was a very pleasant stay. Nice and clean, quiet, and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an great view every morning at sunrise, a private dock, fire pit for a lakeside fire. Awesome fishing amenities… Stunning! Quiet and restful - the owner and staff clearly work together to make memories to enjoy for years to come. We will be back! Katrina - Maryland

The room was very adequately equipped with everything I needed, very clean and updated as well. Jackson, in charge at the lodge, was very helpful regarding any questions or needs. I loved the location right on the lake surrounded by pine. The ski trails connected to the lake and were easily accessible. I hope to return next year!

We stayed in the Chickadee cabin. It is a pretty new cabin and very nicely appointed kitchen. However, the description on Expedia is a bit off. It says it’s a “lake view” cabin. It is not. It’s a short walk to the lake. It also said it had a queen bed, but it has a queen bed in the bedroom plus a twin bunk bed in the hallway and two twin mattresses in the loft, so basically it can sleep six people. Two other cabins are basically the same layout. These are really nice cabins. Sparrow and Nuthatch do have lake views. It’s a pretty big resort with about 15 cabins of various sizes. My only complaint is no hairdryer. I would have brought my own, but Expedia said they were provided. I’m sure if I’d have asked George for one he would have gotten us one. George and Jackson were both very nice and always helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay at Timber Trail Lodge.
