"We just returned from an incredible stay at this wonderful villa! The house is even more beautiful in person and the indoor/outdoor living with the separate wing of bedrooms was perfect for our group. The yard and pool area are thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of privacy and tons of space (more than the pictures show) to relax and enjoy hours, or days, by the pool. As for mosquitos, there was a 15-30 minute window each evening where they were present, but the massive ceiling fans did a great job keeping them controlled (we are bug sensitive!). When night came, our two families (with early teenage kids) were able to retreat to the spacious bedrooms that were all beautifully decorated with en suite baths and air conditioning. Even with the space, the kids decided to spend several nights together in the awesome bunk room. The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly and professional. The house was always spotless and everything was in perfect order. Elvio was exceptional, he took great care of us and made sure that we were able to fully relax and unwind. The food was delicious! We enjoyed a great breakfast spread every morning and chose to have most dinners at the villa because the the foods was so good. A few highlights were the fresh fish, ceviche, authentic Dominican food, homemade pizzas in the stone pizza oven and too many others! Thank you to the staff and the owner, Sam, for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back!"

"Our family had the best experience at Toronjas #1. The house is beautiful, comfortable and very well decorated. The chef made wonderful meals for us taking into account feeding young children at an earlier time and a 2nd dinner for the adults. The butler was outstanding. Ivan was there early in the morning with coffee, made us margaritas, served all meals with a smile, delivered fresh towels to the pool and stayed late cleaning up after the days event. He made my husband’s special birthday spectacular with a Roman candle on his cake. The last day he prepared fresh coconuts with straws for the children. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Many thanks to the homeowner for accommodating us through out the week with travel issues, golf cart rentals and reservations. It was truly a special vacation with lots of memories for everyone. "

"The home was beyond our expectations. Every detail was attended to at the highest level. Our host, Maree, was attentive and available for every question we had. Maree's responsiveness was expedient. Every member of our family of 11, ages 5-80 enjoyed the week's vacation to the utmost. We will definitely return! The home is absolutely beautiful and the staff is beyond compare. We all rate this home 5 *****'s. A special thank you to Maree, and her staff, Roberto, Nicky, Anna and Jhony. Nicky, our chef, went above and beyond to fulfill our special dietary needs without a hiccup! and Roberto, our butler, was extremely attentive and never balked at our constant requests. "The house was perfect for our family of 7. Everything was clean and the house keeper did a great job preparing breakfast for us each day. We also did one dinner at night. The house was in a great location, five mins to the beach and 10 mins to Altos De Chavon. We would rent again! "

"The house is quite large and was a great home base for our stay. It’s centrally located between the main lodge / beach and altos de chavon which are the three main places to visit and eat. The maid , Maria , was great and they also have another person Juan to utilize for excursions. If I had to do it again I would have booked snorkeling in advance as it’s only every few days and we missed out on that. House was great"
