"AMAZING property!! This house has so many amenities! We stayed here with our four kids (teens and tweens) and here is just a quick snapshot of what they did during the week at the rental alone: fishing, star gazing, swimming, biking, exploring the neighborhood, family game nights, used the hot tub, watched 3D movies and played pinball! This house is close to the highway for easy access for day trips to Sedona/Grand Canyon, but nestled away where you can enjoy peace and quiet or a morning watching the wildlife on the backyard. Virginia and Joe are amazing hosts and this is by far our most favorite spring break yet. Thank you for all of the starter items too - it was truly a “dream” from a mom’s point of view! "

"We would definitely recommend this home! Mary was very responsive and helpful. The backyard was very peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing with the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We also played a lot of cornhole, rode bikes, took walks through the neighborhood and played basketball at the nearby basketball court. We were close to everything we wanted to do - Lake Pleasant, day trip to Sedona, hike on the Arrowhead trail, several restaurants, and the outlet mall. There was a lot of space for our family of 4. The house was very clean with all the amenities as described. It was fantastic!"

"Loved the location on the lake & close to the 101. The floor plan of the house was great. Host is very responsive & allowed us to check in early. I do think the house is looking a little tired, needing some maintenance & cleaning. There is certainly effort gone into making the house cute & comfortable, but likely some renters have been hard on it."

"The house was great! We really enjoyed laying by the pool and being by the lake. Took the paddle boat out for a spin and fished off the dock. Often couldn’t believe we were in Arizona when we were there, it felt too tropical. The location was really convenient. Would stay there again for sure. The host was very responsive when we had a question."

"This place was perfect ! It was just as advertised, a perfect house !! The back yard was perfect for our family to get together with the pool, hot tub, tv, several different seating areas ! We really enjoyed taking a couple of pontoon boat rides ! The pool table was a nice bonus feature ! I could go on and on .... Made for a wonderful vacation ! "

"We stayed with two families for spring break, kids ranged from 9 to 18 years old. Plenty of space, well kept, easy check in and check out. Pool and hot tub were great, patio seating and music a plus. The fishing was an added bonus! 3rd cast in, they caught an 8 or 9 lb bass, followed by 4 or 5 10 lb catfish! "We chose this property based on positive reviews and appealing photos; I’m sure, like all of us, we try to do, but unfortunately, our stay was a big disappointment. While Robert was indeed friendly, and the fresh flowers were a nice touch, the home itself was a big stretch from the pictures. Cobwebs lined the entryway, the grand piano was gone, and the kitchen lacked the furnishings we expected, like the dining room table that does not exist in the formal dining area. The pool area was nice, but the landscaping was mostly dead as you go out to the pool area. The plasterer was falling from the ceiling right as you walk out the door. There is a big hole where paint has peeled away. We also encountered several safety issues—exposed wiring, a broken smoke detector, and the refrigerator is plugged into an extension cord, which is a fire code violation. There were holes in a couple of the walls, and there were areas where there were picture frame hooks all over the walls, but no pictures, just the hooks. It mentions the nice sheets in the rooms. Yes, there are sheets on each bed, but they cover the stains on the pillows. There was hair and a rubber band from someone’s braces in the bathroom sink, very little shampoo and body wash, and only two towels per bathroom, so either bring your own towels or be ready to do some laundry, and a toilet brush was left in the toilet, along with where's a link to some of the photos we took"
