"The room was really clean, the staff were really nice and helpful, while I didn’t eat here the bar and dining area were super clean and looked beautiful. The whole place was decorated really nicely. In my room they even had a chair that was big enough for me to comfortably sit in which is rare given that I’m morbidly obese so it was a very pleasant surprise. Finally to say that I got the BEST night sleep of my life here is an understatement, when they say they have blackout curtains they mean it - I woke up at mid day and briefly couldn’t figure out if it was day or night. I will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again when I’m next staying in Peterborough."
"This was a great surprise, expected a normal room over a pub but was amazed on being shown the room, it was a huge apartment with large living room with kitchen area, huge bedroom and bed, toilet had a jacuzzi and separate walk in shower.
Public car park outside which is £3 from 5pm to 9am! "
"Parking was fine, plenty of space. Hotel very dated and in need of updating. Room odd!!! Massive pillar type thing in middle of room which had a tv attached to it. Tv was too big for said pillar and caused an obstruction. Room was really cold on arrival and the remote for the heating didnt seem to work. Staff were quick to rectify this for us but it didnt get much warmer. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that. Overall, i wouldnt stay again unless we were attending another event hosted by the hotel"
"Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand.
Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided.
Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz!
Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with regards helping yourself to tea or coffee etc, or care taken to provide much of a service, ordered at the bar, i had an omelette and it tasted a bit burnt in places. Server looked like she was the only one working and hence why maybe she didnt look happy to be there, but she wasnt rude at least.
"
"I love staying here, it’s my go to place. I was a little disappointed this time, stayed in room 22 on second floor. Room was clean, but the window was not able to stay open, so it was unbearably hot in the room, and just got hotter at night. It could do with at least two more plug sockets, as two were taken up by the fans we had to plug in and have on continuously. The bed was a little firm for our preference, but others may prefer that. Staff were lovely and helpful as usual. I will be returning but maybe ask not to have that room again. And I’d like to try the breakfast next time too… always smells amazing. "
"We stayed in a two bed pod. The pod was perfectly clean and suited us perfectly for our short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small shop on site was useful. The children enjoyed the play area.
Would recommend. "
