Just don't expect much in the realm of amenities beyond a quaint sitting room accessed through the main foyer and a small Keurig machine in your selected bedroom and a larger one in the sitting room."

"Great getaway for two people. Cottage was exactly as the pictures. The owner was proactive with communication and very attentive. The cottage is one of several on the property with the “neighbors’ very close. If you are looking for something not a hotel on the North Shore this is a wonderful option."

"The check in was mainly our ignorance of checking in the way they had it set up on line. They had sent us what was needed beforehand but this is the FIRST ONLINE CHECKIN we had experienced so I wasn’t aware of any notifications beforehand. Next time I will watch for the notices. The room , location and facility was worth a 10. The cleaning lady who only spoke Portuguese helped us a great deal and we were greatful for her help. There were no onsite personnel. Would definitely recommend here! Close to beach and nice cooking in kitchen because eating out is to expensive now. June 14-2026"

"Beautiful, scenic location in an upscale residential neighborhood everything was nice looking and neat. Stairs to the third floor were a little tough carrying luggage . No breakfast because the hosts are retired . We’re retired also and a breakfast would have been nice, especially being the reviews raved about the breakfast. They did have coffee pot in the room and a couple of bottles of water . Owners never communicated while we were there. I guess there was no need. All in all , it was a nice stay."

"Everything about this house, property and location was perfect for our family gathering. Family friendly, pet friendly, the host was very helpful, check in / checkout straightforward and simple. The cleaning crew arrived just as we were leaving and even they were extremely personable. The grounds are large and immaculately kept. A beautiful neighborhood with a beautiful view over the cove and beach access. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the layout of the house allowed for easy flow of traffic in our busy family. The house is child and pet friendly. We especially appreciated the plastic dishes in the kitchen for the children to use and the mudroom entry where we could leave our shoes and pet supplies. The house was very clean and the spacious yard immaculate with a beautiful view of the cove and Thatcher Island. The beach access was an additional treat. The kitchen is well laid out for easy movement with several cooks at a time. There were lots of dishes and just about anything you would need for preparing meals. The property is centrally located to the villages of Rockport and Gloucester. It is also an easy drive to Salem and Boston. We also loved mornings in the screened in porch as well as outside, and grilling out at night. The host was very responsive and the cleaning staff who arrived just as we were leaving where very personable. I can't say enough about this property and highly recommend stay here."
