"We absolutely loved it! The room was adorable and clean and lovely. The staff was exceptional and we loved the pub and restaurant. Amazing food. Phenomenal experience!"
"The hotel itself was great however the restaurant really let itself down. It was New Years Eve and understandably busy however we were left with empty drinks for thirty minuets and a number of other issues.
I would love to stay at the hotel again because that side of it was gorgeous and well organised but I would not return to the restaurant!"
"Wonderful stay at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel. Fantastic view of the river, made even better by the early morning frost. We had a little confusion over the breakfast time but the lovely ladies working there made sure our stay wasn't blighted and accommodated us. Thank you very much. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. "
2 bedroom accommodation in Berrick Salome, near Wallingford
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and clean. It was nice and toasty inside when we arrived, which we really appreciated. There was also a delicious homemade cake waiting for us on our arrival, which was a lovely touch. We loved the log burner, and everything we needed to get it started was provided. The bed is super comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Our yorkie had a great time running around and exploring the garden. Although it’s fully enclosed, there are a couple of sparser areas in the hedge and a gap under the gate that small dogs could escape through. We were conscious of that and just kept an eye on our dog. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful, a perfect location to unwind. We’ve also seen some lovely pubs in the surrounding area, which we didn’t get a chance to try. We definitely hope to come back soon!"
