About this property

Luxury Cottage with Garden

  • Luxury newly renovated 2 bedroom gatehouse of a Georgian Manor House with its own private garden.

    The lodge is conveniently located on the Main Road in the village of Bredon and is within walking distance of the village’s two pubs, shop and playground. Bredon is ideally located for Malvern, Cheltenham and the racecourse, Worcester and the rest of the Cotswolds.

    The owners live in the Manor and so are on hand for any questions.

    Decorated in a classic and restful style, this home away from home features carefully sourced artworks and antiques.

    The two bedrooms are situated on the first floor along with the bathroom which has a bath with shower and luxury toiletries from Bramley Products are supplied for you to enjoy during your stay.

    The cosy sitting room is perfect for relaxing in after a long day out or for lazy weekends and also had a dining room table with seating for 4. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need for your stay and there is the added bonus of a small outdoor utility area with a washer/dryer which is the perfect location for storing muddy boots and wet coats.

    Two well behaved dogs are welcome to join you, we will even provide luxury toiletries for your four legged friend as well!

    The garden is an ideal sun trap and there are 4 sun loungers provided as well as a BBQ and outdoor seating.
    2 well behaved dogs are allowed provided they are kept off the furniture. If there are marks on the furniture (including the bed sheets) there will be a fine of £100.

    Unfortunately due to previous issues cats are not permitted.

    We often have guests checking in on the same day as check out and so our housekeeper needs ample time to do changeover. If you check out after 10am there will be a late check out charge of £150.

The property was so beautiful and quaint with some lovely touches as fresh baked bread, cookies butter etc and even a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Just a very small criticism, the gate which you come in through from the parking area was barely a gate which was broken and had a broken wooden sun lounger in the garden. There was also an old glass greenhouse. And the steps into the house from the back garden were steep and narrow. I would highly recommend putting maybe a hand rail on the steps. We had a toddler so couldn’t have her playing in the garden due to the steps and hazards. We would love to have spent time out there as it was a lovely quaint setting. The interior of the house was so beautiful and no details were spared at all. I would whole heartedly stay there again and recommend it to anyone else.
