Lots of things were provided that I hadn't expected, e.g. a little coffee machine and dishwasher tablets to name a few. The cottage was was pristine clean but I'm glad we took our own pillows.
Lovely local walks and all the locals said hello when we passed them on our walks. We had a very enjoyable week.

The cottage was clean and tidy.
The cottage was clean and tidy. WiFi was a bit hit and miss. But we've found that in all cottages with stayed in. The only issue we had. Which isn't a complaint is that the garden isn't enclosed or attached to the property. Making it not ideal for having a dog. He didn't mind cause they're are plenty of footpaths to explore. That is the only reason we won't stay here again

Lovely cottage in great location, good pubs to eat in and excellent walks. Our only problem was the comfort of the bed and of course that is down to personal choice.

A beautiful well maintained cottage.
A beautiful well maintained cottage. Kitchen was very well equipped.Lovely bedding and towels provided as well as tea and coffee. Lots of information provided by the owners regarding household information ( how to use heating, cooker, bin collection days etc) and also places to visit. It was a home from home. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here with our dog and would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Folly Cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay at Folly Cottage. Very cosy cottage in a village lane with lovely features including wood burner and garden seating area. Kitchen is very well equipped and we self-catered easily. We also enjoyed meals in the local pubs which were excellent quality. Beamed ceilings, stone floors and a cottage garden make this little cottage very authentic and welcoming.

Enjoyable stay at this delightful cottage to attend a wedding close by.
Enjoyable stay at this delightful cottage to attend a wedding close by. Lovely weather meant we could enjoy the lovely gardens and walks . The cottage was very clean through out and well equipped. Bed linens and towels were also very good. A blind at the bedroom window would have been appreciated as the light streamed in very early in the morning. Great to have a drive to park your car, it is a little tight getting in but lots of room once parked, we have a very big 4x4 and had no problems. Would defiantly stay in this cosy cottage again and recommend to friends.

Lovely little cottage, we didn’t want for anything, great facilities.
Lovely little cottage, we didn’t want for anything, great facilities. Lovely location and good local pubs for food, drink both of which were dog friendly. Only slight negative was it could have been cleaner in places, some surfaces missed, crumbs under sofa cushions and bed linen a little tired. This didn’t spoil our stay and we would definitely go back. Beautiful setting, sweet gardens and very handy parking.

The heating was difficult to turn on and for most of the week we were cold.
The heating was difficult to turn on and for most of the week we were cold. The shower was very weak and it was nice to come home to my power shower! A bedside light in the main bedroom would have been great too. Overall though the cottage was lovely and it was good that we could take the dog too.
