As near as we could tell, there was only street parking available or a lot some distance away. Although staff were generally pleasant, they didn't seem particularly adept at being receptionists. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioner worked. The main square and various restaurants were within easy walking distance

Tequila con la Gran Señora

Great, cozy and charming hotel in downtown Tequila, Jal. The plaza principal is about 5 min walking distance. The hacienda-style hotel makes it for a unique experience. The staff were very kind and attentive.

Quick Tequila,Jal stop .

The hotel suited its purpose , one night in Tequila on a road-trip. Beds were comfortable ,although no comforter or extra blankets available in room . Wifi was okay , moderate strength . Front desk staff was cordial and readily available to help . Parking is not on site , rather 1.5 blocks away. Safe to walk to/from , although only available during stay. Payed 30/pesos on hr past noon (checkout time) .

A great stay in the Tequila city center!

We stayed because they were pet friendly but we would absolutely come back on our own. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. There were a couple areas of cleanliness in the room they could improve on but we always bring wipes and wipe down the areas we found lacking quite easily. Otherwise, the room was adequate for two people and our two pups no question. The water pressure was great and the hot water more than enough. The hotel is a 8 room boutique both a beautiful courtyard with jackfruit (w/ fruit), banana trees and beautiful flowers we were not familiar with. They are well located with several eateries and small corner store within a couple blocks and the city center is just a shore walk away. There are multiple sit down restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner and several bars starting at only 2 blocks with the famous La Capilla the home of the Batanga only about 3 blocks away. We are already looking at dates for a return in the next few months and hope there will be availability.

We and friends had a 2 night stay . Day 1 no hot water in our room . Front desk did not know how to open room safe so we couldn’t use it . Front desk did not want to help us call a taxi and was very uninterested in her job. Very basic rooms with no bedside lamp for reading, just one ceiling bulb. Did not make our rooms up during our stay even though there were friendly cleaning staff so we had to go downstairs to get our own toilet paper. Very loud water pumps running several times during the day including at happy hour and bedtime . Free morning coffee was left all day and smelled burnt by dinner time. This could be a good hotel .It has a beautiful well kept garden but needs an infusion of fresh staff up front in the lobby and some updates to the rooms . Did have parking nearby but no loading zone so bags had to be dragged down the sidewalk for over a block. Group trip , none of us liked our rooms or our stay and will not be back . Definitely cannot recommend this place.
