"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful property in the forest, fun for kids, relaxing for adults. It is an old property, but very cozy. Pretty good restaurant and tavern on site, and great general store with all essentials. Takes about an hour to get to Yosemite Valley. "
"Keep in mind you're staying here because you don't want to tent camp in Yosemite. The perk of this lodge is the views to the mountain stream out your back door. I'm sure, when it was built, this lodge was gorgeous. It is now very dated and run down. There were a couple pools out of order. The indoor pool was extremely warm. The hot tubs weren't functioning. The restaurants on site are not run by the hotel. Do yourself a favor and don't eat and the restaurant, buy food at their store and make it in your room. There was a lightly stocked kitchen in our room, no microwave, but a two burner stove. The fireplace worked and was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and room was large. Our two person jetted tub and double shower head was functional but the drain didn't work. You have to ask for housekeeping to come by. Again, this is the best option to stay extremely close to the park entrance without sleeping in a tent or cabin. There are no elevators so keep that in mind when booking a room. If you have lots of stuff to carry after hiking all day, request a first floor room. We had adequate wifi. The room served it's purpose but is overpriced for the age of the facility. Regardless, the best option we found. "
"First experience wasn’t great as the staff member that checked us in wasn’t at all helpful. This instantly created a negative impact on the start of our trip. We could hear another staff member being very welcoming, super friendly and giving his guests lots of useful information, it was just unfortunate we got someone who clearly couldn’t be bothered making even the smallest effort."
🌄 Luxe A-Frame Panoramic View Yosemite West Cabin - NEW AC and EV Charger🌄
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Yosemite West. The hosts were incredibly communicative and always responded promptly to any questions we had, which made everything feel easy and stress-free.The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient, and we really appreciated that there weren’t excessive “cleaning” expectations placed on guests. That said, we did our best to keep the space tidy—it was far too beautiful not to treat with care! The home itself is stunning and perfectly located, inside the park yet far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful and relaxing. It was a great balance. One of our favorite features was the game garage. It was great for the child in our group, and we (the young adults!) had a lot of fun playing ping pong as well. The house was exceptionally clean and made us feel comfortable right away. The oversized dining table was perfect for our group of seven, with plenty of room to spare. The furniture throughout the home was unique and aesthetically pleasing, while still being very comfortable to relax on.The kitchen was impressive fully stocked with just about everything you could need. We especially appreciated the labeled cabinets, the air fryer, and the Keurig stocked with coffee for guests (such a thoughtful touch!). There’s also a standard coffee pot if you prefer.Overall, we truly wish we had more time to stay. We would absolutely book this property again if we return to the area! "
"Great location! Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding. We had 2 rooms. One west facing with a great view of Yosemite Falls. The other room was east facing with a phenomenal view of Half Dome.
Would definitely recommend this hotel! "

"After extensive research on lodging in the area, we ended up staying at the Pedegrine Lodge. The accommodations were even better than the listing described. Vonnie is an excellent host and an even lovelier person, helpful in every way. We fell in love with Yosemite as soon as we pulled into the park. I would recommend that anyone only consider this property while visiting the park."
"very nice location inside the valley, room is dark and looks dated but clean. A short walk to the Yosemite fall. Cafe food is not that good and very pricy for the quality. "
