Mid-coast Dream- Beautiful Oceanfront home with spectacular views!

"We LOVED staying at this property! Our family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids (7&10) had everything we could possibly need here. This home was very clearly someone's well loved and well cared for home and still holds the touches of life lived in it. When you see that, you can't help but want to preserve and protect the home with that same love. So, omg, please use the coasters.I always appreciate a rental that has the little things that you don't want to buy a ton of on vacation (i.e. Tupperware or one piece of foil or even stain remover.) and this home has all of those little bits and bobbles which made our stay stress free and convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked and had anything you could need. The downstairs playroom was great for the kids with lots of games and puzzles and a great drafting table for them to color at. The style of the house is super cool. So open and breathable for a cozy Maine property. The water view is wonderful and access to the little beach is easy. The kids had a great time just playing on the property making fairy gardens and looking for sea glass. It's super close to town, so the general store and Wharfside coffee (a must!) are walkable. We stayed for 2 weeks, and during that time encountered some bugs in the house (ants and spiders in the bathrooms and bedrooms) but I find this to be a standard part of life in a coastal wooded area and would not consider it an unreasonable amount. Stephanie was easy to get ahold of and easy to communicate with."

"Cove cottage had all your needs to accommodate us. It was peaceful and sunrise and sunsets beautiful! Our dog loved the space to run and swim! We didn’t realize to swim we would need some form of floating device. It was still great to get away! Easy to find with the directions provided and the cabin was cozy and inviting!"

"The cottage was as advertised mostly. The view of the water was a tiny little slice between two houses, you could just see a little water at high tide.The cottage was clean and comfortable . The house manager was very helpful and always available. The owner was not very helpful and not particularly pleasant. We had constant issues with the internet.Couldn't stream movies without a lot of buffering., trying to be on a computer for work purposes was almost impossible and very inconvenient. When we reached out to the owner, he told us no-one had ever had a problem. That was his response whenever there was an issue about anything. This was not a welcome exchange or a helpful one. Hopefully a booster will be added to the internet situation before the next guest arrives. The router and modem are in the owners house. The hot water tank is small so you need to stagger bathing if you want it hot and are more than 1 person.Other than that, the cottage is as advertised, nicely decorated and conveniently located. The lack of air conditioner was not a problem as there are very efficient ceiling fans."

"Excellent vacation house. If we ever travel to this part of Maine, I’d stay here again. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard by the fire pit or down by the water. Views are amazing! Can’t thank the hosts enough for an amazing place to stay."

"We were two families vacationing together. Ten adults. We had a great time. We have rented many beautiful homes in Maine before but this was the first one where all the pictures portrayed the home exactly as it is. We were very relieved to find that. The rooms were spacious and had amazing views. The house was fully stocked with supplies. The kitchen and grill were great for our lobster cook-out and other meals. We also loved the location. It was a great spot to walk the dogs and hang out by the water. The only disappointment was not being able to use the kayaks we rented because there isn't a clear launch point. The large rocks made it inaccessible and there isn't a dock. Next time, we will rent bikes instead! Thank you. We plan to return!"

"A surprisingly nice and quiet location. Surrounded by trees so you are unable to see the nearby lot with old vehicles. The house was stocked with all the basic necessities you would need for a home away from home. Basement was clean but a bit musty so we were unable to use the comfortable sleeper sofa as an extra sleeping area for a group of 6. As expected from a log cabin it is easy to wake up other guests so you have to walk lightly. In July the weather was great so we were able to use the covered porch as a sleeping area even during a heavy rain storm. We enjoyed a picnic in the backyard with a gas grill and a fire ring in the front yard at night. We were very happy with the cabin and it suited our needs for exploring the area."

"Terrific house for seven adults. Well stocked kitchen, and the porch was wonderful . Nice woodsy setting in quaint Tenant’s Harbor. Ramp made it easily accessible for my father. Loved exploring Maine’s mid coast from our home base! Thanks for a great extended family vacation!"
