Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. "This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!"
"We rented this house so we could enjoy a vacation with our daughter and her boyfriend, our son and DIL and 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 3 and 18 months. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for us to all spread out. The 1st floor master and downstairs bathroom are amazing. The other bedrooms and bath I’m told were very comfortable. We did a lot of cooking here and the kitchen was well supplied with essentials. I don’t think the pictures do justice to the sweeping views. I loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the early morning and just let the quiet and calmness, the ocean sounds and smells permeate my entire being…and then the 3 grandchildren wake up, come out and join and create a whole different appreciation and gratitude! I can’t wait to come back, this is one of the better houses I’ve rented mid-coast in 20 years…and I’ve rented a lot!!"
"This was a well appointed, clean and bright spot for our family to base while we explored the mid-coast of Maine on the way to Bar Harbor and Acadia.
