"The cottage overall is nice. The owners are very friendly and the garden is pretty.The steep steps with the bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs is a bit of a challenge but overall a cozy place.The location was close to our friends we were visiting.My only suggestion would be window treatments for privacy and some live TV streaming choice in addition to Netflix.For a young couple this place is a great place."

"This place is beautiful! Our family of 4 (all adults) was in town for a wedding, and we stayed for 4 nights. We all agreed that it was very comfortable, clean, and looks quite new! It was as good as being in our own home (but cleaner than that LOL)! Our sons slept in the 2 rooms downstairs and we slept in the beautiful bedroom upstairs. The living space on the middle floor is generous and has everything you could need. This is definitely the best place we have rented, and we have stayed in many in the U.S. and abroad. Stephen is an excellent host- he was in touch and promptly answered my last minute questions prior to arrival. Thank you, Stephen!"

"Beautiful, comfortable and clean. All updated and plenty of space. Kitchen stocked with everything needed. Nice backyard and beautiful view of the SaltWater Field property with water views and sunsets. We enjoyed watching fireworks from the upstairs deck over the river. Three bed and three bath was great for room and privacy. Out family loved this house!"

"Very much enjoyed this little gem for the quiet, natural setting. Great weather allowed us to spend a lot of time on the spacious deck, relaxing and grilling. Comfy quarters and little amenities (e.g. candle, toothpicks) made it homey and easy to settle in. We’d love to return some day!"

"The decor in the cottage is adorable, and it's very well organized for a group or family. Plenty of room, great entertainment options, many places to retreat with a book. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals.The location is a short drive to all the local highlights: we did the Farnsworth Museum, Cushing, Tenant's Harbor, lobster rolls in Port Clyde. And we had a snug little movie night the evening we stayed in. Good AC and heating--we had to use both as the temperature ranged from 80 down to 57 in classic Maine style!The host is very quick to respond to questions and communication was very smooth.We all enjoyed it very much."
