The food was delicious, the pools were pristine, and the entire hotel, including our room, public bathrooms, and everything in between, was remarkably clean. Secrets Akumal truly pays attention to every detail. The beach, unfortunately, was not great due to seaweed, but this was not the hotel’s fault. They did everything possible to clear it. But the most impressive aspect of the resort was its service team. Jonas, Max, Ara, and the rest of the entertainment team were all incredibly friendly and fun. The wait staff was also excellent. Diego from Market Cafe, Raul from Portofino, Santiago from Beach Service, and many more, all provided great service and attentiveness. Our room was always clean and stocked with everything thanks to Silvia and our concierge, Leidy. I highly recommend trying this resort out. You won’t regret it. "
