"Lovely clean room, excellent staff, great kitchen. BUT… green light in room not conducive to good sleep, and the fire alarm went off at midnight, after which the excitement seemed to evoke some guests to chat and laugh through the night until 3am, then the same group of four men woke up and continued their frivolities from 5:30am until they left just after 7am. Not the staff’s fault. But the sound proofing is poor."

"We had seen not very good reviews about the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 rooms booked family and standard, all clean. Hotel is very nice, easy to get to, good gym sauna pool facilities. Hotel is a bit worn but clean and like any other hotel. Breakfast was good. We stayed as there was a wedding function at the Hotel so can be noisy at night, but wasn't too bad. Hotel staff were very nice and helpfull. Not much near hotel to do but lots of places to order from around the area. Grounds are very big so good if you have children as lots of space to play. Rooms all different sizes, family rooms are big , standard smaller, bathroom very clean. We had no issues and would definitely come back again, think maybe over years once renovated to a modern standard would be 5 star Hotel. Only recommendations would be when we had our room cleaned our cups we used to make tea were kot replaced with new ones and used towels were not replaced automatically but apart from the minor things no faults, we really enjoyed our stay thank you"
"Another great "annual trip" to Stafford and a stay at The Swan. Particular shout out for Lewis in the restaurant, who was excellent. See you next year!"
"Ideal place to stay whether on business or personal. Accommodation is separate block in carpark, which has plenty of parking. Marston’s restaurant food is excellent. Room was great with aircon if needed. Note 2 story with stairs, so best to phone if infirm so you can secure a first floor room.
8 full fat EV chargers on site, including Chademo. Next door is BP service station with Asda local, Subway and Starbucks. Burger King also next door.
Centrally located for business park but makes an ideal location if visiting area as all services are within easy reach include most fast food brands.
For fitness fans the many pathways mean an easy circuit is available. Sunday running group use it as their base. Well worth a visit, recommended."
