The Cliffden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location we’ve stayed here a few times, lovely sized rooms, clean and comfy bed. Good car parking and buffet breakfast in the morning, if you want fried or poached eggs they will do them on request. We had a little well behaved dog with us, no problems at all but I think £20 is a bit excessive for the night as the prices were hiked up anyway as it was August. They do have a lovely swimming pool to use as well but we didn’t get chance to use it on this occasion. Will definitely be retuning."

"The house is beautifully situated with fields all around it. We saw birds, foxes, rabbits and deer from our windows. The house itself was very well appointed with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were wonderful kept everyone ( ages from 6 to 77) occupied and having fun. The garden has enough room for lots of games which enabled us to enjoy being outside. There were 14 of us in our family group and a dog, the feed back from everyone was that they’ve had a brilliant holiday. Sue"

"Photos of property are accurate, well decorated, well appointed with all the things you need. We are a family of 4 with two teenagers so the games room with pool table and games console was well received. Close enough to walk into town though the walk back up the hill home did feel like a gym work out! Small gripe, beds very soft which was not my preference though didn't detract from the stay. Overall a lovely house with all you need to make a family stay great. Great location, overall I'd rate it at 4.6 out of 5"
Estuary View - Secure Parking - Nearby Beach

"Really enjoyed our stay in this modern and well equipped apartment. It had the bonus of secure parking and car charging (even though it took a while to set up to charge). We stayed during one of the hottest spells so far this year, so we were pleased that the evenings in particular were cooler on the large and well furnished balcony. This was only spoilt by the view (we were aware it might be somewhat limited) where there was only a glimpse of the estuary between the APB buildings. There was good walking access to the town and, in the other direction, to Shaldon, which my wife managed, in spite of not being comfortably mobile. We did not use our car during our stay as the station is also in easy walking distance giving access to well known areas of interest. The trains below did not disturb our sleep with the doors shut. If we were to return we would hope to be able to book a higher apartment with better views."
