"Grand hotel Piazza Borsa was an amazing hotel. The room was almost as a mini apartment , big and spacious with a large bathroom with all the amenities. The lounge area , first floor , was like a small courtyard, where you could order some drinks and snacks and relax in between sites’ visiting. The breakfast was very generous and the servers very attentive. Definitely will stay again here when we visit Palermo again ."

"We had an upgrade to the Palazzo Balsamo and it was a very incredible experience. Beginning for the room that was amazing, breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. Noemi gave us restaurants recommendations and places to go! She was amazing. I also want to thank Floriana for given us the upgrade and helped us had an amazing time at the Palazzo Balsamo. We highly recommend the hotel, facilities, location ,staff. Our stay in Palermo was great because of you. Thank you, thank you"

Paid 30 euros per night for underground car parking and there were plenty of spaces and also big enough as well. "The ground floor lounge spaces and its bar always seemed deserted, and there is a strong smell of Ortigia room scents throughout. The heavy-handed interior design overwhelms the more classic beauty of the original palazzi. We are architects, so this kind of poor design is more offensive to us than most. We finally got help with the AC, which had been turned off in our first room, and the young men "helping" us turn it back on were surly and laughing at our apparent stupidity in not being able to find the tiny black button on the tiny black thermostat. So, several hot and uncomfortable nights spent before solving that mystery. It's a great location with good array of breakfast choices, but I would not go back here."
