Welcome to this spacious, elegant but quaint home, a place to unwind alone or with family/friends. Teal Sky Retreat is located on 64 pastoral acres of wildflower fields, groves of hardwood trees and dense forest. You may enjoy preparing a meal in the bright kitchen, and then dine overlooking the fields and forest as deer graze in the field. Stretch and unleash your creativity in the open-concept living room, and breathe deeply on the 400 ft. nature-infused path to the meandering small river as birds chirp in the forest. Heritage Perth is fifteen minutes to the south where artistic boutiques and unique restaurants are inviting. Summertime festivals abound in the area and the maples dazzle. Bring your kayak or canoe to explore local waterways or bike along our winding country roads in warm weather. Sit by the fire pit in the evening (if there is no fireban) and relax as fireflies dance. Welcome! (Maximum 4 nights stay) Be prepared to correspond in detail before I pre-approve your request.

Bring your own towels!
Property and building were absolutely beautiful. The owner seems lovely. We saw 4 deer grazing outside while we were finishing up a late supper. However, bring your own towels. We casually read the listing and it lists towels in included amenities. Those are just hand towels. If you scan further down it tells you that you should bring your own bath towels! Another thing of note is the lengthy list of rules that the owner provides. I get it, they want to keep the property in as good a condition as possible for a long time. Still, it does detract from the enjoyment of the stay.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay in this house in the countryside. So peaceful and quiet. A great place to disconnect and relax. If you can handle no wifi and limited cell service, or you’re actively seeking a digital detox, this place fits the bill. Perfect site for a retreat.
