This hotel is beautiful, rustic, and very clean, situated right on top of the mountains surrounded by gorgeous greenery. The staff and service were wonderful, which made up for the lack of in-room amenities (keep in mind there is no A/C, coffee maker, iron, or hairdryer). Note that the location isn't ideal if you have mobility issues. A couple of things to plan ahead for: 1. You definitely need a vehicle or taxicab. The site mentions a 6-minute drive to downtown, but it took us 10-15 minutes on steep, narrow roads that require careful driving. 2. The hotel restaurant closed at 3:00 PM during our low-season weekday stay. Since there is nothing else close by, finding dinner was tricky. Despite those minor inconveniences, it is a great stay if you’re looking for something low key and relaxing

Horrible experience at Hotel Balneario Los Ángeles in Taxco. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. We had to wait at reception while staff argued with another guest about stained towels and a dirty duvet. I explained that I have arthritis and asked for a first-floor room, but when we returned around 10 p.m., we were placed on the second floor. There is no elevator, making it very difficult to carry our luggage. The worst part was the noise. The room next door had music blasting at nightclub volume late into the night. There was no phone in the room to contact reception. I eventually had to take a tranquilizer and finally fell asleep around 1:30 a.m., while the party was still going. There was no apology, compensation, or real solution. We were simply told that we should have reported it. Unfortunately, this was not the relaxing stay we expected. I do not recommend this hotel and will not return.

The property is splited in two. If you pick the rooms with two beds, you will have to stay on the section wich is under constrution, no security, no wifi and out of the main property.

Location is quite far from Downtown and difficult to access. When I made my reservation it said 5 minutes from the Downtown and we traveled 25 minutes with lot of steep ups and downs. The receptionist was not really friendly at all, there was no hot water in the shower, the spa bathrooms were really bad and stinky.. The jacuzzi pool was nasty. The kids pool slide was kind of dangerous. Beds in very poor condition and too noisy due to other guests' pets, Poor disabilities access. Bad WiFi connection. Really nice sunset and views

Parte del personal no atenta al servicio del cliente, se molestaban cuando se les solicitaba algo, la habitación con animales, encontré 2 cucarachas y un 100 pies, no estaba del todo limpia y para terminar la habitación que me dieron era la que tenía balcón y daba exactamente a la ventana de una casa donde no pude tener con mi familia privacidad en lo absoluto.

El ambiente muy tranquilo, el personal es amable. Sin embargo reserve una habitación que prometía vista a la montaña y el personal me dio un balcón con vista a la calle, abajo del restaurante. No habia agua Caliente, de ahi en fuera son los únicos puntos de mejora.
