"Beautiful hotel for the price … large supermarket 2 minutes away was handy with refrigerator in room. 3 minutes to riverwalk, with shops, restaurants & beach ferry. TV’s are a little small for the size of the room and digital reception was poor. Stayed 6 nights and would stay again."

"Very clean, nicely decorated, safe & easy parking, great balconies (sunny/shady). 10 minute walk to lots of bars & restaurants. Very walkable, barely used our car. A nice perk, a huge Saturday market sets up across the street once a week. Most importantly a host who answers inquiries within minutes. "

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the resort. The check-in was seamless and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting a vehicle, as the resort is quite aways from dining (other than resort options). Parking in the outside parking lot was free, as well as street parking. Parking underground was 12 euros per night. In October, we had no trouble finding a spot outside. The room was in the smaller side, but neat, clean and comfortable. Yes, there were a few ants in the bathroom, but it was understandable given the somewhat remote location close to nature. I would recommend bringing insect repellant, even in October, if you plan to eat outside in the evenings. The breakfasts were pretty good, with lots of options. We had the dinner buffet the first night for 29 euros per person - but for every other lunch and dinner, we went into Tavira or Faro. There were much better options with 4.8/5.0 reviews on google that were tastier and less expensive. If you have a choice, eat outside the resort. That being said, we would definitely stay here again. We did the yoga and the paddle boarding and enjoyed both activities. The yoga was very basic and certainly no comparison to yoga in any major North American city, but the beach was lovely. The paddleboards were the inflatable kind but I got the opportunity to work on my balance and their drag made sure I got a workout in. The resort is comparable to a 4.5 star resort in Mexico."

"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. The gardens and the pot plants throughout the exterior of the hotel are calming to the mind. The therapist Christina in the wellness centre was excellent and provided me with a very positive experience at the Luma Wellness Centre. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and our room and terrace were immaculately clean to a high standard. We loved the pool/beach bag provided and the coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was to a high standard and we loved the menu options served to the table. We loved the food in the restaurant,its presentation and the staff and manager’s attentiveness during our dining experience."

"The only item I can say wasn't 100% to my satisfaction was the water pressure in the shower. I know I'm nitpicking. The breakfast was wonderful and there were so many different cheeses to try (7? 8?) and breads to choose from. "

"This was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful apartment, well set up, in a great location. We really enjoyed the pool and there was a good restaurant and a grocer at the end of the drive. We had issues getting into the apartments but they answered all our calls and it could in part have been due to our travel fatigue. We also never had hot water we had to boil water for dishes. If the weather had been cooler it may have been something we called about. Tavira is amazing and it was a €7 Uber to the City Square. "

"From booking right throughout the whole stay we have nothing but good things to say.Paul was excellent at communicating prior to our stay and upon arrival we met with Emma.The property is extremely spacious and very well equipped with everything you will need including towels and beach towels and equipment. The beds are comfortable and there were lots of dvds, CDs, books, games and streaming services along with information about the local area. The pool is great and the outside area was lovely to relax in. A car might not be necessary as there is a large shopping centre right beside the development. We did have one to further explore the area but the town was walkable.We very much enjoyed our stay and would hope to return again in the future."
