"Hostal 977 was amazing. What beautiful spot and so close to everything in the old town. Never needed a car to go anywhere from this spot. Amazing nice and knowledgeable host that explained everything and everywhere to visit! 5 stars ***** + *****"
"Great location. Very close to great eateries, best gelato just around the corner. A/C , W/D
were a bonus. Very quiet. There are 4 steep flights, so we were happy to have our sons help with our luggage. Highly recommend.

"In a busy and a little noisy square. Plenty of restaurants around the square. Coffee and water available 24 hrs. Clean and basic - it is a Hostal. Not staffed but secure access only. "
"The apartment was well designed and decorated with a full kitchen. It was very relaxing. The bathroom tile was excellent and noise proofing was superb. The apartment is a four block walk from Rambla Nova. From there, one can walk to a variety of sights, roman ruins, the market, etc. "
"Fantastic flat to explore Tarragona from. On the very edge of the walled section of the city, very convenient to get anywhere. You could even park nearby, which you could never say anywhere in that section. Very cute patio for drying clothes or enjoying the city in the morning, nice small flat space for eating or relaxing mid day. You will spend most of your time out in the city, you can walk anywhere in Tarragona, but this was a great vacation spot to come home to."
"There was on site parking which was just as well as the surrounding area felt very unsafe. Bar and restaurant on site good and room adequate. Not sure about easy exit in case of fire"

You can do some window-shopping at Central Park Shopping Center during your stay in Tarragona. While you're in the area, stroll along the beautiful beaches.
Go and stay in the old city. Walk the Roman walls, visit the church (and don't miss the cloister), see the Roman amphitheater, and just soak up the ambiance of the old buildings and history. After dark, it feels like it could be centuries ago.

If you can visit when they are celebrating Sant Joan, you have to see the human towers. Amazing spectacle!

Lots of historical things to see. Lots of bars and restaurants and if you like shopping there are lots of shops. Lots of lovely walks especially to the port and all along the coast line.

Some areas west of town very neglected and shabby not to be recommended
"The bungalow was comfortable & had almost all the amenities of a family home. I love the security - I kept my doors & windows open all the time when at home. It was usually pretty quiet. The beach is a 5 min walk away. The beach is safe & great for swimming. The location is close to a bus stop, but it it difficult to get a taxi...have to call. The area is great for sightseeing & for cycling."
"Port Plaza apartments are in a great location for the Port, the beach and the town. Check in was with a very helpful man who explained everything to us. The Aircon was good and the apartment was comfortable. We would return."
