Vacation with extended family
The house is fantastic. 6 large bedrooms and bathrooms. There were 16 of us and there was more than enough space for all of us to congregate or have private time. The owner was very attentive and answered all questions immediately. The water was great, fishing and kayaking were amazing.

Great stay. So worth the money. Beutiful lake Pretty. 15 mins from Downtown.Very clean and beutiful. Had coffee and watched the Red tail Hawks and Eagles soar on the observation deck. . Went kayaking every morning. Thanks David. Loved cooking in the chef kitchen. 5 acres of gated lakefront paradise.

Our stay in Citrus Park, FL, was amazing. The house was beautiful and more spacious than we could have imagined. David was a pleasure to work with and very accessible when we needed him. He gave us suggestions on things to do in the area. I would definitely recommend staying at this property or any property where David is the manager/owner. I know we will be back.

This property was perfect for our group of 18. Ages ranged from 6-57. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space and large areas to all gather together. The kids loved the pool and the dock for fishing. They have fishing rods, kayaks and a John boat for you to use. David communicated extremely well if we had questions. We loved our stay at this home.

Great Family vacation!
Our family absolutely loved this beautiful, huge home and spacious property! The grandkids loved playing in the pool, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The pool table was a big hit too! The kitchen is every cooks dream. We have a large family, and there was plenty of room to accommodate our family with room to spare. Thank you, David ! We made memories to last a lifetime!

My dream vacation
We had my dream vacation at this beautiful house. My entire family was able to stay here with no problems. Everyone had enough space so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Had so much fun with so much to do. We were able to even get family photos taken on that beautiful stair case. Can’t wait to get pictures back. Loved everything about our experience from checking in to checking out had great communication with host David & Rachel. Thank you for everything!

Family Trip
Just returned from the property after an amazing 8 days with family. Communication was fantastic. David went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The house is huge and private with everything you could need. The kids fished off the dock almost daily, and got lots of time in the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend!

When sitting by the pool looking out over the lake you certainly feel like you’re at a 5* resort. Host was very responsive and property manger was quick to reply. My only disappointment was the furnishings. Well worn furniture, bedding and lack of room for our group size. Listing said property could accommodate 20 people , the problem is there weren’t enough bathrooms for a group that size. Several of the inflatable mattresses leaked air. Our group only spent four nights and my grandchildren, ages 21-13, made it work. Overall we had a wonderful time, rented jet ski which enhanced our experience. I would recommend renting from David again.

A house large enough for 5 families. Waterfront location made it easy to rent a pontoon boat and jet skis. David, the owner was very helpful and responded to any query quickly. The kayaks and pool kept adults and children entertained.

Family Vacation 2022
I highly recommend staying at this property. There was lots of room to be together (13 of us ages 3-71) and plenty of room to find a quiet space to read. The theatre room was a hit for the teens who played via their Play Station using the big screen. The pool and deck is lovely. Fishing from the pier is fun and produced a couple fun catches (also released). There was about a four foot gator off the dock which was fun to watch. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. The John boat was great for a view of the lake from the water. The host provided many ideas for things for our large family to do while in the area. He was also available via texting the entire duration of our stay in his lovely home. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and there is a lot of pantry room. There are a couple grocery stores within a few miles for grocery runs. Tampa and Clearwater are easily accessed from this property, although traffic may be heavy at times. As a family we tend to NOT repeat a vacation spot, but if we would do so we would definitely return.

Amazing Lake Property
Our family of 20 loved our stay at this beautiful property. David, the host/owner was so wonderful to us and very accommodating and treated us like family. He was quick to respond to any of our questions and very helpful. This home is truly a mansion - plenty of space for a large group - from bedrooms/bathrooms to the kitchen & dining seating areas plus the outdoor space. The pool is beautiful and the lake view breathtaking. We rented jet skis one day on the lake and the kids had a ball. The pictures do not do this property justice. After posting pics on FB, friends were asking if we were staying at a resort. The location is perfect - only 30 min drive to Clearwater beach and great restaurants in Tampa nearby. But honestly, we enjoyed our dinners the most at the house! We will definitely book a future vacation, thank you David!

Fabulous Family Reunion
This was the perfect house for a 3 generation family reunion. It had something for everyone - beautiful grounds, spacious well stocked kitchen and eating area for family meals, and a large pool where the kids played all day. The private lake was the highlight, a perfect place to enjoy the available canoe and kayaks, paddle board on our personal SUPs, or sit in the shade and enjoy a good book. We even got to enjoy fireworks from the dock on July 4! David had great communication and suggested places to eat and different activities, but we all loved hanging out at the house so much we only left one day to enjoy Clearwater Beach and grouper sandwiches at Frenchy’s. We highly recommend this property and owner.

I gave my family a destination "surprise" vacation for Christmas 2021. They were only given the address the day we were driving. When my family, especially my grandchildren saw the house, they literally screamed with delight. As they ran throughout the house inspecting everything you could hear them yelling that we were staying in a mansion!! The outdoor patio area was phenomenal. We could have lived happily ever after in the pool and hot tub. Our family enjoyed the kayaking on the lake and breakfast coffee on the balcony. We found it centrally located to many convenient beaches - some exceptional!! I've never used VRBO before this booking, and I have to say David was a fabulous host. He went above and beyond to answer any questions and help us find our way around the area. My grandson even left his Switch there, and David was kind enough to priority mail it to us!! Great experience for all of us. Only negatives - could have used some towel racks - the A/C could not go below 74 so it was hot upstairs - the pool man showed up unexpectedly and was incredibly rude (not the hosts fault please understand) put chemicals in the pool and we couldn't swim in it for three hours (bad timing) Would I rent this beautiful home again - ABSOLUTELY

I do not know we’re to start. The owner and his wife were amazing right from the booking to the trip. David had amazing suggestions for everything in the area any questions were answered almost right away. The house is absolutely beautiful plenty of room for our family. We had everything we could possibly need. The pool and spa was a huge hit with the family and so we’re the boats. They were accessible if we had any issues or questions right up until we left. The theatre room was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this property it will not disappoint. We would def rent again if ever in Tampa.

Great family home
Beautiful property! The pool is the perfect size and lots of deck for sunning and playing. Large lawn by the lake and even bigger on the other side of the house. The basketball court was a bonus and it was shaded in the afternoon for the kids to get some playtime out of the sun. The owner was very responsive--we called when we couldn't get the hot tub bubbles working and he called a pool repairman to come to the house. We had three kids aged 2 and under, and the house was fairly childproof--a few stairs but they were generally able to toddle around safely, and the house was big enough that the kids didn't wake each other when they cried. The owner put us in contact with a service to rent baby supplies--worked great! Perfect spot for multiple families to vacation together and only 30 minutes to the airport, the zoo, the beach, etc. Highly recommend!

It is a MANSION! A+++ stay.
We stayed at this Lakefront Mansion as a group of 3 families for Spring Break. The hospitality of David began right after booking. He is an amazing host who sent suggestions for anything we might want to do in the area, checked in on us from time to time, and assured if we needed anything to just ask. He sent George the maintenance manager out for a couple preplanned items (new garbage disposal and new closet light fixture) and he couldn't be a nicer guy. The house is even better in person than the pictures. It has plenty of room for everyone to spread out, have fun, and relax. The kitchen was perfect for making large meals for our group with ample counter space, a huge refrigerator/freezer, and 2 sinks. The theatre room was a hit with all of our younger ones and entertained them when the rain came a couple of our days here. Living spaces and bedrooms have plenty of room. For our group though...it was the back yard that was the favorite!!! The pool, hot tub, and loungers were in use all week long as we soaked in the sun. The gorgeous lake was the spot for morning coffee, plenty of fishing, and jet skiing. We played volleyball, threw the football around, and had races on the sprawling lawn. Last but most certainly not least, we spent hours under the covered balcony in the evenings playing cornhole on the boards we brought with us while others played some pool on the pool table just inside the doors. I could go on but I won't. I'll just finish with saying we would absolutely 100% come back to the Lakefront Mansion again and I highly recommend anyone reading this book a stay as well. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Gorgeous home and amazing hosts!

Great house for a family stay over spring break.
Great host, David was super available and full of good suggestions for activities and restaurants. House was large and had a nice pool and hot tub. House on a lake so kids enjoyed renting wave runners and husband enjoyed fishing off dock. Kitchen is well stocked and nice high end appliances made cooking at home a joy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice Property for Large Family Getaway
Beautiful property - spacious gated grounds on the lake, house was open concept with high ceiling. Kayaks, two-person canoe, and five person row boat were provided at no additional costs. We took full advantage of the nice kitchen with large stove – which was well stocked with dishes and spices. We had lots of room to spread out – we had up to 15 people at the house and were very comfortable. The media room was an added bonus - spent several nights watching movies from premium cable channels. Owner (David) was very responsive.

Great Get Away
Really enjoyed our time at this property. It is what it says it is - a great place to be and is able to accommodate our large group comfortably. Upon check-in, we immediately noticed how clean the property was and how easy it was to navigate the amenities, based on the home directory left on the counter. All items were in working order - so important for our crew. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions and made us feel as if we were special guests in his home. I feel he is now a new friend :-). The theater room was used daily, as was the hot tub and fishing dock. Everyone caught fish (bass, catfish, blue gill) and even a turtle or two. A lot to do for the outdoor enthusiast at and around this property. All in all, there is something for everyone at Villa Alexa!

The property was amazing and so was David. He sent me links to all the grocery stores, places to eat at, trails to ride bikes at ( 5 bicycles at property ) . Honestly my family never left the house. We went fishing on the dock in the mornings. Took the row boat out with the canoes that were there. The kids loved it and had so much fun. We rented jet skies on Friday from the people that David referred us to and they brought them out that day and worked out an awesome deal for my family. Pretty lake was absolutely beautiful. We seen softshell turtles, alligator gar, alligators, Egrets, Blueherons, red tail hawks, tree frogs, little lizards, geckos, we seen so much.. our overall experience was amazing!

My new go to place in Florida!!
Thank you so much for making my stay amazing! The mornings were incredible, I was able to drink my coffee on the water front dock and watch the Redtail Hawks and Eagles fly over the lake. I enjoyed kayaking each morning, what a work out! My son caught several bass while fishing. The estate was exactly as advertised, very clean and luxurious. The kids enjoyed watching movies in the theater. David was an excellent communicator and took care of all our needs. We are making plans to return next Spring. Hands down one of the nicest places I have stayed!!!

I rented this house for me and my 8 friends. I picked it because of its location on the lake, close stores and things to do so I wanted have to leave during the day to have fun. David was the best owner I’ve delt with on any Vrbo house I have rented. Sent me links to great restaurants, golf courses, fishing charters anything I ask. We had a blast riding wave runners on pretty lake. The house is just like it’s listed. Plenty of bed rooms, a awesome theater room to watch movies. We spent most of our time outside by the pool and hot tub. Beautiful lake view . Not one bad thing to say about this house. I will definitely book this again when I’m back in the Tampa area.

Perfect stay!
Our own little paradise. Want privacy ya got it, need to accommodate large groups you have it, love water activities well here you go. This home had it all and was fully equipped with everything you’ll need in a kitchen, blowups, extra blankets, pillows and plenty of towels. Huge pool and awesome spa was a plus. Family Vacation over Christmas Week 2019
We arrived on Dec 21st and the check in was super easy. The owner called us the week prior to make sure everything was good for our upcoming visit. He offered suggestions for local restaurants, we ordered pizza at Alfonso's...best pizza. We did have lunch at Ballyhoo's. Again, very good food. Our family Christmas including 13 adults, a 2 year old and a 9 mo old was our best. Our children took advantage of the canoe and our grandkids enjoyed using the hot tub set at a modest 85F. Each family went off and explored the Tampa area. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals for our large crowd. This is truly a chef's kitchen. We had Chef Cristian come in on the 23rd to prepare/cook a 4 course meal for us. It was awesome! It was easier than taking 2 grandkids under 2 years old to a restaurant for at least two hours. Would highly recommend him to anyone in the Tampa area. The owner was very responsive to any questions and needs we had, I would recommend this VRBO rental for anyone having a large get-together. If ever in the Tampa area again, we would definitely book this home.

Great for large families....we had 7 adults and 4 kids.
Very nice spacious house. It was close to the Tampa airport, Busch Gardens and Crystal Beach (we were not impressed with Crystal beach even though it got so many good reviews. There were sea gulls and pelicans EVERYWHERE. All in the water pooping everywhere. My son in law got hit.) as well as the grocery store. We even went to Costco one day. Our daughters and son in laws and grand kids enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and especially the pool! We had a day scheduled to ride the jet ski's but it was raining that morning. so the owner cancelled it. It did clear up but never heard back from owner about using them. Kind of a bummer since the grand kids were looking forward to it. To the owners: If I may make some suggestions: There is definitely some repair needed to the outside back deck and foundation. Also, the decor was kinda of a hodge podge of various different items. Nothing seemed to go together. Just a bunch of random items. There was also Christmas stuff still out. The patio door to the downstairs bedroom (right side of house) we had trouble with it opening and locking due to severe weather damage, possible termites? We did really enjoy our stay at your house, just wanted to make a few suggestions. I took some photos if you care to see them.

My wife & I along with 15 members of our family stayed at Daves home in Odessa in late may of 2019. We had plenty of room for everyone. The pool And hot tub were great and very clean. Dave allowed us to have a high school graduation party for our granddaughter and we had plenty of room for over 50 guests. The house had everything you would need for a vacation. Dave even allowed us to use his wave runners And other water craft that he has there. Over all it was a great vacation And Dave was big reason for that. We highly recommend renting this Mediterranean Lakefront Mansion and we would do so again.

Amazing Multi-Family Vacation!
We stayed at this property for a week and it was wonderful! There were 4 families, (8 adults and 7 young children) and this house and location were absolutely perfect! We spent many days relaxing by the pool or in the hot tub, we did lots of grilling and movie nights with the kids and got to explore nearby attractions like the Tampa Zoo and the Florida Aquarium which were both within 20-30 minutes. Weather was perfect as well as location! We didn’t want to leave!

Recommended Vacation Stay
Four Mason, MI families (17 people (8 adults, 8 teens & 1 pre-teen)), for one week created another set of Spring Break memories at Villa Alexa. The home is was super spacious, allowing for whole and small group activities any time of day. The patio around the pool is more than enough for all to enjoy the sun, just note, there are only 4 lounge chairs & 8 patio chairs. The lawn space on both sides of the house is great for playing catch, kicking around a ball, or running around. The basketball net by the driveway was perfect for small groups to enjoy. Beach towels provided (15 or so) but vary in size so bringing your own might be wise, especially if you plan a beach day. Never saw gators but stayed away from the lake at dawn & dusk. Kids and adults enjoyed some water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, but used the pool for swimming, sunning and water time. Outdoor patio & bar came in handy but not screened in for bug-free evenings. Gas Grill was clean and great condition! Inside, the kitchen is super stocked with dishes, pots, pans & small appliances beyond what you’ll use. Lots of kitchen prep-work & serving space. With our large group, kids ate at kitchen dining; adults ate in formal dining area. Theater room was perfect- our families enjoyed watching the Spartans kick Duke’s butt to make it to the Final Four- Go Green! The ping pong table, pool table & Reading nooks allow for more fun when you’re stuck inside or want to escape the heat. There are 6 bedrooms with queen or king size beds to sleep 12. The mattresses & pillows were great quality & comfort for our families (no sore backs!) Side tables/ night stands not available in all rooms- FYI. Additional sleep locations consist of the theater room loungers, blow-up beds or couches around the house. 6 full baths & one half-bath more than accommodates large groups. One upstairs attached full bath does not have standard shower but has garden tub with hose to rise off. Another upstairs attached bath has window in shower that needs to be frosted or covered- check behind the shower curtain. Hair dryers a available in most. The bath towels were of great quality & quantity. Laundry rooms available up & downstairs but one dryer was not heating properly- an easy fix, I’m sure. Our families rate this a solid five stars! “Uncle” Dave was beyond friendly, a good communicator, and accommodating. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a family gathering to celebrate our niece’s wedding
The house and property worked wonderfully well for our group which ranged from our youngest niece, at age 13, to our mother, at age 91. All ten of us were able to comfortably share the common areas but totally escape to private areas as needed. A big highlight: morning coffee on the dock. Another highlight: movie night in the theater room. And once my niece saw the photos of the house, she was determined to have the bridal party photos taken there (the one of her and the dress on the circular staircase should be fantastic). And once she saw the luxourious master bath, she absolutely had to use that for the hair and make-up process for her, the 5 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls. There was more than enough room for all of them, plus the photographer! The property was so welcoming that, even though she lives 45 minutes away in south part of Tampa, she spent 4 of the 7 days that we had rented at our place. Finally, the owner David was tremendously considerate and helpful. My mother is Japanese and cannot survive without watching Japanese TV. David immediately and readily accommodated this critical need by allowing us to add TV Japan to his package for the week of our rental. Many thanks to him for making this wonderful home available to our family.

The home is situated in a very private area which allowed us to really enjoy the quiet and serene surroundings. The view of the lake was unbelievable. The homeowner was very good in sharing information on good eateries and in answering any questions. He touched base with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied. Addiotionally, he sure knows a lot of people in the Tampa area. The home reminds us of some of the Mediterranean villas we have been to in Italy. The home is very spacious. My only suggestions to improve the property would be to equip the bathrooms with towel bars and a place to hang towels. Because the house is so massive some of the walls were barren. Maybe a little more decor would have helped to spruce up this wonderful home. Having the option of a heated pool would have been preferred.

Amazing property for group getaway!
This property was exactly what we were looking for. As a group of 16, we needed somewhere that would allow us to bond together but also have our own spaces - this was perfect. We enjoyed the pool, the dock, and the ping pong table!

Great Property

Best place we ever stayed!
I had a family vacation on the second week of July 2018. The house it’s amazing, located at a great and quiet location. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. If we had any questions how to operate something like the jacuzzi or something else, David was always available on the phone to help. He even let us use his waverunner on the lake. We are definitely renting the house again on our next Florida vacation.
