I left for five days and returned, and they gave me the same room with a "welcome back" message and in-person greetings. They were awesome. "Boutique oasis virtually hidden from the beach and road yet with gardens true to the tropics. Some of the rooms are showing their age but, for us at least, it is a small price to pay to stay in a price of heaven. "My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...
