"Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "Great clean room and building with everything you need for a business hotel. Reasonable price with great breakfast ( free) Just little too far from Numata station. 20min walk on up hill ! Not so much of side walk to walk safely, especially at night. You have to call for a cab ride after 5pm. Morning is from 7am. Not much choice for restaurants around . Other than that great stay !"

"The best thing about the hotel is the Onsen! The price was also reasonable. The hotel is a little on the worn side but still in good shape. It does have a shuttle to/from the echigo-yuzawa station but their hours are limited. The last pickup is 5:30pm if you miss that you will need to hire a taxi (expensive), take a bus (also limited hours) , take the local train to the iwapara station and then a 4 min walk to the hotel (the train is about 1 per hour) or you can walk to the hotel (about 45min)"

"A lovely Japanese style accomodation. Refreshing to see that shoes are off limits at the property and they provide good lockers for the shoes. Private baths and onsens are available for a soak after a day out to explore. Breakfast is good too though the timings of breakfast are a tad early but best way to start the day ! :)"

"Checkout staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The onsen was welcoming for foreigners and we were informed tattoos were okay too, which was an unexpected surprise. Amenities (including robe for the onsen) were provided and there were vending machines easily accessible as well. Short walk to Yuzawa Station so it was very convenient. Compared to other properties in the area, it was nice to stay in a hotel with a private bathroom for only a slight price increase from hostel-style accommodations. Would recommend!"

"This place was absolutely wonderful! My first time experiencing an onsen and it was amazing. The shuttle pick up and drop off from the train station was great. The welcoming staff at check in/check out. The room I selected was AMAZING!! So serene and quiet. I got the private bath with my room, and boy was it relaxing. The halfboard/dinner and breakfast was AMAZING!! The food was soooo fresh and delicious. Do note, that it is further away from most of the attractions in the area, so if youo don't have a car it can be a little hard getting around. But If you are looking to get away for a day or two to just relax, this is the place. "

"It’s a good hotel to ski. They have shuttle bus every half hour between hotel and the train station. The massive hotel is facing a ski field, particularly good for beginners, ski school and park for kids. After ski, then you can enjoy the hot spring. It’s amazing. I also love the buffet. I may bring the kids back again for ski in future. "
