"Cute condo. Great location. The Kitchen had some spices and oils and coffee for us to use, which was a nice addition. There is one full bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs."

"The condo was a perfect home away from home. So comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay in Truckee. We loved the updated look and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. We were able to use the pool, driving range, and Donner Lake as well as downtown Truckee easily. This is the best place we’ve found for a week vacation to Truckee."

"Great place to stay for our family summer Truckee getaway! The property was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and had all the kitchen staples you could need. We used the HOA amenity cards which gave us access to the private beach and pool (for a fee) which our kids loved. It was warm in the middle of the day with no a/c, but the property had fans and with the windows open at night it cooled down very quick. We would definitely come back!"

"This lodging was our “home base” for a week in the Truckee Donner area and it worked really well for our needs. We were kayaking and loved having the garage available to store our boats when we weren’t using them. The jacuzzi was clean and hot and perfect after a day on rivers and lakes. The table tennis is a fun diversion, too. We only cooked in one night and could have used a cookie sheet and a dish towel, but we made do. Our dog loved the place, too. A fenced yard would be nice for dogs but it looks like Tahoe Donner doesn’t allow them because there isn’t a fence to be seen anywhere. If your pooch is well-trained, he/she will be fine without an enclosure. I would book this place again and I recommend it to others."

"Very conveniently located near town and amenities. Plenty of parking and bedrooms for 3 generations.Only thought is that it could use another TV in a bedroom for the kids to watch their shows in the evening, otherwise great!"

"Overall, our family of 8: 2 elderly grandparents, 4 older adults (50s & 60s) and 2 adult children (20s) really enjoyed our stay in Truckee at Kantor’s Hideaway. The home is very large with plenty of gathering space in the great room and the backyard deck. The kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. Only minor issues which we brought to management’s attention were some dirty bed linens on one bed, several pillows that should be replaced (a bit smelly), broken grill, and a small mouse showed himself one evening in the great room. With a little attention to some minor issues, this place would receive a full five star rating."
LOADS OF AMENITIES also 20 min to NorthStar and Palisade's for skiing.
