"We arrived on time and although they were still ckeaning our room it was completely fine. They were very apologetic but it gave us a chance to get in some sight seeing. It is such a beautiful home and so peaceful. We totally enjoyed our time there and will definitely look at staying again should we return for a second trip to Kawhia. Thank you to you and your beautiful wife for allowing us to stay. "

"Great place to stay after our caving adventure. Wonderful host and great breakfast included. Only bummer was the parking situation. If you have much luggage it’s a hassle to carry it up the stairs, and parking was a small distance from the rooms. "
