  • Came across the Kootenai Falls stop on the way home from a road trip. Hit it early in the morning so there were only a handful of people. A very easy hike. We stopped the end of May so the water was rushing through. Here in BC there are fences all around edges of cliffs and water. Here there was nothing so you could really enjoy the raw beauty of Mother Nature.

Second stay just as good as the first

Fantastic Stay

We loved the Tree House. It was perfect for our family’s ski vacation. They have thought of everything that could make this comfortable including an area for our ski equipment and the most comfy beds. The hot tub and rain shower were an added bonus. We would love to visit again. Thanks!

Everything Was Perfect!

Absolutely amazing location, view and amenities! The house was well stocked with everything that you could ever think of, and more. The house itself was gorgeous, comfy and cozy - all of the finishings and decor were beautiful and top quality. The hot tub was pure bliss and the kids loved the bunk bed room. We will definitely be back and recommend fully to all!

“This place is the real deal!”

This place is gorgeous, impeccably clean, styled and decorated beautifully, and the hot tub is perfect! In an era where the quality of vacation rentals seems to be dipping while prices are rising, this private treehouse apartment is “the real deal!” (When we arrived one of our group looked at the kitchen and bedrooms and exclaimed, “Wow, this place is the real deal!”) Comfy beds, clean in EVERY corner, great location with the best stocked kitchen of any rental I’ve stayed in! If you’re looking for a place maintained by hosts who clearly care about offering a beautiful and peaceful property for their guest- this one would be a great choice!

Beautiful tree house suite. It's super clean and you feel at home right away. Literally anything you need is there. Full equipped kitchen for home made meals. It's super quiet outside which we loved. Sky and Vee really understand how to make guests feel welcome and they did an amazing job decorating and building this beautiful suite. Would recommend 10 of our 10!!

Here for a wedding

Great place for a family of 6. Laundry machines great when we needed to dry our towels. The whole place is designed beautifully with raw edge wood, and modern kitchen and bath. Would stay again without hesitation!

Stunning and Peaceful

This place was fantastic. Very private but only 15 min from town. The suite was clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and both the kitchen and bathroom were large and roomy.The deck was huge with an incredible view and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake! We definitely want to go back!

modern getway escape which was very clean with great attention to detail and everything you need to be comfortable. we brought our dogs and they loved the walking snow covered forest trails right outside the door. we will be back to visit next time in nelson! highly recommended!

Quiet Forest Setting

The location, cleanliness of this property were lovely. Unfortunately, immediately at checkin, our Siberian Husky became very anxious going up/down the metal staircase which set the tone for the duration of our stay, 3 nights. The hosts had small pads attached to each tread which would probably be perfectly fine for small dogs, but not for larger breeds. After speaking to Sky, he tried to remedy the situation by inserting extra material (yoga mat) under the existing pads to widen the planking. It helped a little but because the loose pads shifted on each step from her weight, it still wasn’t ideal for our girl. I appreciated Sky’s efforts! Lastly, I’m not a prudish person and realize we were in “Nelson” but when we sat outside I found the lingering smell of weed coming from the main level where the hosts reside and directly below us to be very unpleasant. The smell makes me nauseous.
