"I planned this trip for my adult sons, my hubby, and my dog so we could spend some relaxing time together. It was amazing. The view from the house is so beautiful. I told myself when my life seems hectic from now on, to think of that view and the quiet beauty of it all. House was clean and comfy. Beds were great. Bathrooms were large and clean and one for each bedroom was great. We played corn hole competitions, cooked yummy food, talked, built fires, star gazed, drank wine and laughed. We even saw a bear peek his head over the patio the very first morning. We went to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore, Blowing Rock, Asheville. Lots to do. We got home today and miss it already. Great place for a relaxing getaway from our hectic lives. Our dog loved it too!"

"Large house. Nice area in a gated community. Easy check in and check out. Driveway had lots of room for car, truck, and boat with trailer. Quiet area, we did have a pleasant train horn go by several times a night. Two large screen TVs. Kitchen has lots of room and convenient to use. Two kinds of coffee makers. Large refrigerator and freezer. Enjoyed our stay!"

"Property was very well taken care of newly renovated, with excellent decor. Owner was very responsive. Nice quiet place where my family and enjoyed ourselves and some amazing hiking in the Linville gorge. If your grilling be aware you are in bear country and they may want to come check out what’s for dinner. I would go back in a second."

"We enjoyed our stay & would like to return in the future. Although the leaves were just beginning to change color in the upper elevations, it was still very beautiful. We enjoyed the special touch of the sheep throughout the house, especially the framed tee shirt. Hearing the train pass several times daily reminded me of spending time with my grandparents. Our host was very helpful & his instructions were great."
