"This was a great cozy cabin in the woods! We used the fire pit at night and the kitchen for a couple meals. We didn't get to see the local bear but the place was great. The road leading to the house is tight so I wouldn't recommend bringing a big trailer but our sprinter made it no problem and a short trailer wouldn't be a problem either.When we were leaving we met the host and she was very nice too. We would gladly come back."

"SUCH an amazing property! We stayed here when we came up to get married at Wiseman’s View. It’s perfectly positioned for that location - it’s also super nearby the Linville Winery and just a short drive to more civilization - but it feels so tucked away and remote. Cell service wasn’t much of a thing there, but the WiFi worked great. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the hot tub was just to die for. We enjoyed our stay SO much. The host was gracious enough to allow extra day time visitors on our wedding day as we got ready there at the cabin - the three stories made it easy to do so together, but separate so he didn’t see me before the ceremony. So grateful. Can’t wait to come back! "

"Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue for me. Thank you for a great property on extremely short notice. "

"The home was clean and very attractive as pictured, and the community is nice. We met a nice neighbor who told us what roads were actually open at what times(some roads still in clean up mode after Hurricane Helene). That helped us avoid lengthy detours unnecessarily. The owner communicated promptly for any questions and was very attentive and kind. Only suggestion would be allow occupants to have more control of home temperature during stay. We all utilized the spare blankets when sitting around. "
